72,of North Tonawanda,suddenly
Wednesday (November 21, 1979)
at DeGraff Memorial Hospital.
Mr. Donner was a lifelong
resident of North Tonawanda,
a member of St. Paul Lutheran
Church, E. Felton St.,
Gratwick Hose Co., Firemen's
Benevolent Assoc, the Senior
Citizens of North Tonawanda
and was a former employe of
Buffalo Bolt Co. for 30 years.
He is survived by his wife,
Agnes (nee Walck) Donner;
a son, Timothy (Cynthia)
Donner of Tonawanda and a
daughter, Mrs. Peter(Rebecca)
Parnell of North Tonawanda;
three grandchildren; five
brothers, Henry, Howard,Jacob,
Norman and Charles Donner,
all of the Tonawandas and
a sister, Mrs. Frank Luescher
of North Tonawanda.
The family will receive friends
at the Fretthold Funeral Home,
Inc., 1241 Oliver St., at Ward
Rd., North Tonawanda today
from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Services will be held, in St.
Paul Lutheran Church, Saturday
at 10 a.m., the Rev. Paul D.
Rohrbacher will officiate.
Interment in Acacia Park
Cemetery. If so desired,
memorials may be made to St.
Paul Lutheran Church.

Agnes W. Turner, 85, died Friday (Jan. 26, 2001) in Mount View Health Facility, Lockport, after a long illness. She had been a patient in the nursing home since 1993.
She was born Agnes Walck in Wheatfield and was a lifelong member of St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church, where she taught Sunday school and was a member of the Lutheran Church Women's Circle.
She was a teacher's aide at Spruce Elementary School for several years and volunteered at DeGraff Memorial Hospital.
Her first husband, Lawrence Donner, died in 1979.
Survivors include her husband of 18 years, Alfons; a daughter, Becky Parnell of Port Richey, Fla.; two stepdaughters, Sharon Comstock of Wichita, Kan., and Christine Pasek of the City of Tonawanda; a brother, the Rev. Bernard Walck of Lady Lake, Fla.; two sisters, Minnie Zobrist of Baton Rouge, La., and Kelley Durkee of North Tonawanda; five grandchildren; and two great-granddaughters.
Services will be held at 11 A.M. Tuesday in DuBois Funeral Home, 2436 Niagara Road, Bergholz. Burial will be in Acacia Park Cemetery, Pendleton

Esther N. Walck Ex-Sanborn resident dies at 93
SANBORN - Esther N. (Beutel) Walck, formerly of Sanborn, died in Northgate Manor Nursing Home, Wheatfield, Tuesday (Aug. 11, 1987). She was 93. Mrs. Walck was a member of St. Peter's Evangelical Lutheran Church and its Joy Circle group. She enjoyed sewing. She was the wife of the late Emil Walck. Surviving are daughters, Mrs. Al (Agnes) Turner and Ella Durkee of North Tonawanda, Minnie Zobrist of Las Vegas, Nev.; a son, the Rev. Bernhard Walck of Simi Valley, Calif., nine grandchildren, and many great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Services will be held at 2 p.m. today at St. Peter's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Walmore Road, conducted by the Rev. Herbert R. Maxwell. Burial will be at St. Peter's Lutheran Cemetery. Friends may call from 10 a.m. to noon today at the DuBois Funeral Home, 2436 Niagara Road, Bergholz. Contributions to St. Peter's Lutheran School are acceptable as tribute.

There are nine grandchildren.
Mr. Walck owned a farm
in Sanhorn prior to moving
to Niagara Falls. He was
employed by the Carborundum
Co., and worked as a
stationary engineer in city
schools until his retirement.

Miss Esther Beutell, Sanborn
