1946, after an extended period of
failing health.
Born here Mar. 22, 1891, he was
the son of Charles M. and Emily
Franklin Blood. This city had al-
ways been his home. His marriage
to Addie J. McLagen occurred Feb.
2, 1916. Mr. Blood had been en-
gaged in his profession for some
30 years.
He was a member of the Broad
St. Methodist Church. An ardent
lover of sports he also was devoted
to hunting and fishing.
Besides his wife, he is survived
by a son, Robert L,- also four
grandchildren, Joan, R o b e r t,
George and Susie, all of this city.
Also surviving are his mother and
four ssisters, Mrs. Orrin Rumacy,
Oxford; Mrs. Zada Fuller,, Sidney;
Mrs. William McHarter, Elmira,
and Mrs. Thomas Carroll, Hamil-
ton and several nieces and
nephews.Orson married MCLAGAN, Addie J about 1913. Addie (daughter of MCLAGAN, George H and MCNITT, Clarissa) was born on 27 Jan 1896 in New York; died in Oct 1971 in Norwich, Chenango County, NY. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]
