LOCKPORT — Lucy Prohaska passed away on March 27, 2012 after a long illness. Lucy was born on May 24, 1926 in Providence, RI, the daughter of Louis and Antoinette (DeAngelo) Farina.

She worked for 31 years in production at Harrison Radiator, Div. of G.M. retiring in 1984. Lucy was a lifelong member of St. Joseph's Church.

Lucy is survived by her husband of 45 years, Paul Prohaska; sister of Dominic (Betty) Farina of Lockport and the late Angelo, Anthony, Louis Farina, Bridget Campisano and Virginia Fink; also survived by her sister-in-law, Margaret (the late Anthony) Beringer; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

There will be no prior visitation. Relatives and friends are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated on Friday morning, March 30th, 2012 at 10 AM in All Saints Parish Oratory, 391 Market Street, Lockport, NY. Entombment will be in St. Stanislaus Mausoleum. Memorials to Niagara Hospice, 4675 Sunset Drive, Lockport, NY 14094, would be appreciated by the family.
