    Elizabeth Hospital, Utica,
    October 4.1986, after a brief
    illness.
    A native of Boonville. Mr.
    Havens was born February
    15, 1943, a son of Jordan
    John and Marline Uebele
    Havens. After graduating
    from Boonville Central
    School, he attended
    LaFayette College in
    Pennsylvania. For 18 years
    Mr. Havens was employed
    by International Business
    Machines in Utica where he
    was a machine technician. In
    recent years he operated the
    Havens Office Equipment
    Company in Boonville,
    repairing electronic office
    equipment and machines.
    A member of Love Post
    American Legion #406 of
    Boonville, he was also a
    member of Boonville Lodge
    of Elks #2158.
    Mr. Havens is survived by
    his mother, Mrs. Harold
    (Marline) Mahaffy.

    Boonville, one daughter,
    Mrs. Paul (Lesley) Hoffman,
    Poughkeepsie; two sons,
    Sean Havens, New York
    City and Jordan Havens,
    Fishkill; and one brother,
    Dr. Gary Havens, Long
    Beach, Calif.
    A committal service will
    be held at 8 PM Friday at
    Boonville Cemetery where
    Rev. John E. Nuessle,
    pastor of the Boonville
    Methodist Church, will
    officiate. There are no
    calling hours. Memorials
    may be made to the
    Memorial Fund of the
    Boonville Methodist Church.
    The Trainor Funeral Home
    is in charge of arrangements.

    at 11:10 to Jordan Havans,
    son of James Havens, at Central
    M.E. Church by the. Rev. John A.
    Redmond.
    The couple waa attended by Mr.
    and Mrs. Montrose Havens.

    were married at 11 in St. Francis
    de Sales rectory by the Rev.
    William J. Shanahan. They were
    attended by Miss Uebele and Jordan
    Havens.

    BOONVILLE - Lawrence H.
    Uebele, 73, died Dec. 22, 1955 at
    his home after an illness of seven
    weeks.
    He was born in Hoffmeister,
    Hamilton county, Oct. 27, 1882,
    son of Lorenz and Dela Maheuz
    Uebele. He was educated in
    Morehouse schools.
    The greater part of his life
    was spent in Hamilton County.
    He served as an assessor in the
    town of Morehouse several years
    and also was a member of the
    board of trustees of the More-
    house schools.
    He was employed many years
    by the New York State Highway
    Department.
    He was a member of Central
    methodist Church, Utica, and
    Newport Lodge F&AM.
    He married Anna M. Davy
    May 24, 1915 in Utica. The Rev.
    Ralph Watson Brokaw performed
    the ceremony.
    Besides his wife he leaves a
    daughter, Mrs. Marline Havens,
    Boonville; a son, Capt. Law-
    rence H. Uebele, Hr., Dover, Del;
    two grandchildren, Gary and
    Ronald Havens, Boonville; his
    mother, of Utica; a brother,
    Charles Uebele, Hossmeister;
    four sisters, Mrs. Charles Bleasly,
    Garfield, N.J.; Mrs. Charles
    Guckamus, Mrs. Walter Briggs,
    and Mrs. Clifford Stein, all of
    Utica; several nieces and neph-
    ews.
    The funeral will be at 2 Sat-
    turday from the Trainor Funeral
    Home, Boonville, the Rev. George
    H. Brow, pastor of the Baptist
    Church, officiating. Burial will
    be in Prospect Cemetery.
    Newport Lodge F&AM and
    Boonville Lodge 165 will hold
    ritual services at 8 tonight at
    the funeral home.

    May Uebele, 77, of 103 Water
    St., proprietor of the Boonville
    Hotel, died yesterday in St.
    Luke's-Memorial Hospital
    Center.
    She was born in Watertown.
    daughter of William and
    Rosella Evans Davy, and was
    parried to Lawrence Uebele in 1915 in Utica. He died in 1955.
    Mrs. Uebele had been in the.
    -hotel-restaurant business since
    1933. She operated the Leanto in
    New Hartford and the Cottage
    Hotel in West Winfield before
    acquiring the Boonville Hotel in
    1939. She has been actively engaged
    in its operation since.
    She was a member of the
    Boonville Methodist Church,
    Grace Chapter of OES in
    Clinton, the Love American
    Legion Post Auxiliary and was
    a past president of the State
    Liquor Dealers Association
    She leaves a daughter, Mrs.

    Harold (Marline) Mahaffy,
    Boonville; a son, Lawrence H .
    Downington, Pa.; a brother,
    Roy Davy. Orange City, Fla.; a
    half brother, Crandall
    Jessmore, Syracuse and two
    half-sisters. Mrs. Charles
    (Mildred) Timian, Lafayette
    and Mrs. Frank (Gladys)
    Bordeau, Syracuse.
    The funeral will-be at 1:30
    Wednesday .from the Trainor
    Funeral Home, Boonville.
    Burial will be in the Boonville
    Cemetery.
    Calling hours are 7 to 9 tonight
    and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 Tuesday

    At tbe home of tbe bride. 56 Seneca,
    street. Monday morning, took place
    wedding of Miss Anna Davie, of this;
    city, and Lawrence Uebele, of Kirkland.
    The officiating clergyman was
    Rev. Ralph W. Brokaw, D. D., pastor
    of the First Presbyterian Church. The
    bride and groom were attended by Miss.
    Edith Uebele and Jacob Partello. Mr.
    and Mrs. Uebele are passing their
    honeymoon in the northern part of the
    State. They will live In Clinton.

    in a local hospital after a four-
    year illness.
    she was born Aug. .3. 1866,
    in Morehouseville, daughter

    and attended Morehouseville
    schools. She was married to
    Lorenz Uebele in April of
    1882. He died Aug. 11. 1929.
    Mrs. Uebele attended the
    Morehouseville M e t h o d i s t
    Church. She lived in Morehouseville
    until 1945, when
    she came to Utica.
    She leaves four daughters,
    Mrs. Marie R Birge, Utica;
    Mrs. Charles Bleasby, New
    Jersey: Mrs. Charles Guckemus
    and Mrs C. F. Stein, both
    of Utica; a son, Charles T.
    Uebele, Hoffmeisten 14 grand-
    children; 19 great grandchil-
    dren and two nieces.
    The funeral will be at 2
    tomorrow from the chapel of
    the John S. Friedel Funeral
    Home, Court at York Sts.,
    with the Rev. Harold F. Lucas,
    pastor of the Holy Communion
    Lutheran Church, officiating.
    Burial will be in Prospect
    Cemetery.

    Boonville, March 15 — The funeral
    of Mrs. William Jessmore was
    held Saturday at her late home.
    The Rev. Robert U. Holmes, pastor
    of the Methodist Church, officiated.
    The bearers were George Williams,
    Walter Beige, Waldo Williams,
    Lloyd Myers, Frank Parsons
    and Howard Parsons.
    Waldo Williams sang "Beulahland".
    Among the many floral tributes
    was a piece from the neighbors.
    Interment was made in
    Boonville Cemetery.
    Relatives and friends attended
    from Watertown, Carthage, Utica,
    Syracuse, Cape Vincent, Clinton,
    Vernon, North Western, West
    Leyden and Trenton.
