    JOANNA E. 'JENNIE' KRUL Joanna E. "Jennie" (Golanka) Krul, 88, died Tuesday, June 19, 2007 at Kenmore Mercy Hospital, Tonawanda, NY, She was born December 6, 1918 in Niagara Falls, NY, the daughter of the late George and Agnes (Wnuk (sic)) Golanka and attended local schools. During World War II she worked on the assembly line at Bell Aerospace and retired in 1982 after 26 years in housekeeping for Palumbo Real Estate, Jennie was a member of Holy Trinity RC Church, served as Eucharistic Minister, Bingo worker, Ad Astra Polish Women's Alliance and former member of American Legion Ladies Auxiliary Portage Post #1465, Holy Trinity and Bishop Duffy Mothers Club and St. Stan's Craft Group. She enjoyed bowling and craft work. She is survived by sons, Robert J, (Florence) Krul of Olney, MD, Ronald J. Krul of Tonawanda, NY, and daughter, Dolores (late Robert) Werth of the Town of Niagara. Her grandchildren; Michael Werth, Cheryl Werth (Troy Harrison), Jennifer Krul, Robert Krul, Lisa Krul, Melissa Bungo and also several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, John Krul, April 13, 1991 and sisters, Mary Gallow and Irene Magrich Jacks. No prior visitation. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Friday, June 22 at 10:00 AM from Holy Trinity RC Church, 1419 Falls St. with Rev. Slawomir Siok officiating. (EVERYONE ASSEMBLE AT CHURCH.) Burial following in Holy Trinity Cemetery, Lewiston, NY. Contributions in her memory may be made to Holy Trinity Church Renovation Fund or charity of one's choice. Arrangements were made by the ZAJAC FUNERAL HOME, INC.

    Golanka, to John Koul. son of Mr.
    and Mrs. J. Koul, of Du Bols. Pa.
    A delightful .party was held in honor
    of the event at the West avenue hotel
    In Rochester. Places were set for
    20 guests.

    Miss Joanna Golanka became the
    bride of John Krul on Saturday
    morning at 10 o'clock In the Holy
    Trinity church.
    The bride was gowned in white
    satin trimmed with lace and her veil
    of tulle and lace was fastened with
    orange blossoms and she carried a
    spray bouquet of Easter Lilies. The
    bride was given away by her cousin,
    Bruno Suchnicki.
    Miss Anna Krul, the groom's sister,
    was maid of honor and she was
    gowned in orchid taffeta made on
    princess lines with an orchid picture
    hat to match. the bridesmaids were
    the Misses Loretta Walbe, Lottie
    Pasisz, Emily Suchnicka, Katherine
    Janik, Jennie Kopszynska, Ann
    Paukatela,, Estelle Sajek, Dorothy
    Jacowicz, Frances Wnuk and Helen
    Krul. The bridesmaids were gowned
    in blue, yellow, green, peach and
    pink and all carried colonial bou-
    quets.
    The best man was Steven Strach.
    The bride's nephew, Norman Magdziay
    and her little cousin, Bernice Teran,
    carried a basket of fall flowers and
    were both dressed in white satin.
    The bride's mother was gowned in
    flowered chiffon with nacy bluye ac-
    cessories and the groom's mother
    wore navy blue with black acces-
    sories and both wore corsages of
    roses and sweet peas.
    The reception was held at the
    Polish Citizen club and places were
    set for 200 guests.
    Mr. and Mrs. Krul left Tuesday
    for a wedding trip to the cleveland
    Exposition and to Detroit, where
    they will spend a week. The bride's
    going away costume was a navy blue
    suit trimmed with squirrel, with
    which she wore red accessories. After
    the trip Mr. and Mrs. Krul will re-
    side at 413 Eighteenth street.

    Wojciech Golanka, of 413 Eighteenth
    street, dropped dead at his
    home yesterday afternoon. Coroner
    W. L. Draper, who Investigated, said
    that death resulted from a heart attack.
    A native of Poland, Mr. Golanka
    had lived In Niagara Falls for the
    past 23 years. He was a veteran employe
    of the International Paper company.
    He Is survived by his wife, Mrs.
    Agnes Golanka; three daughters, Mrs.
    Irene Magdzlak, Mrs. Mary Krull and
    Jenny Golanka; one brother, Anthony,
    at Ransomville, and one grandchild,
    Norman Magdzlak.
    The funeral will be held from the
    family home at 9.30 a.m. Thursday,
    with services at Holy Trinity church
    at 10 a.m.

    Mrs. Agnes Golanka. 71, of
    413 18th St., died Wednesday
    (Nov. 9, 1966) in Memorial Hospital
    after a long illness.
    She was born in Poland and
    lived in this city for 53 years.
    She was employed for 20 years;
    bv a local law firm and worked
    10 years for the Aeronautical
    Manufacturing Co. in this city.
    Mrs. Golanka was a'member
    of St. Hedwig's Society, the
    Mothers' Club, the Holy Rosary
    Societv of Holy Trinity Church,
    the Apostleship of the Sacred
    Heart of Jesus, and the Friend-
    ly Club. all societies of the Holy
    Trinity parish.
    She Is s u r v i v e d by three
    daughters, Mrs. Irene (Renee)
    Manrich, Mrs. Benjamin (Mary)
    Gallow and Mrs. John (Jennie)
    Krul, all of this city; a brother
    John Wruk of Poland; six
    grandchildren and 13 great-
    grandchildren.
    Funeral services will be held
    at the Tubinis Funeral Home
    Saturday at 9:15 a.m. and at 10
    p.m. at the Holy Trinity Church.
    Burial will be in Holy Trinity
    Cemetery.
