    WILSON, Aug 2--The Concordia
    Lutheran church, Beebe road, was
    the setting Saturday at 4 p.m. for
    the lovely summer wedding of Miss
    Jean Zastrow, daughter of Mr. and
    Mrs. Benjamin Zastrow, East Wil-
    son, to Mr. Melvin Upton, son of
    Mr. George Upton, Wilson. The Rev.
    C. W. Oldach officiated.
    The double ring ceremony was
    solemnized before the altar decor-
    ated with baskets of multi-colored
    gladoli.
    Given in marriage by her father,
    the bride was gowned in slipper satin
    with Chantilly lace trim, long point-
    ed sleeves and a full skirt forming
    a circular train. Her finger-tip veil
    fell from a crown studded with pearls.
    She carried a cascade bouquet of
    white gladoli, baby mums and
    gypsophilia. Her only accessories
    were rhinestone ear rings, a gift of
    the bridegroom.
    Miss Betty Zastrow, North Tona-
    wanda, cousin of the bride, was maid
    of honor and was gowned in hya-
    cinth blue taffeta, with matching
    sweetheart headdress and mitts. She
    carried a bouquet of hyacinth, blue
    gladioli, gypsophilia and larkspur
    tied with a pink bow.
    Miss Linda Hopkins and Miss Rita
    Pratt, Wilson, were bridesmaids.
    They were gowned in matching pink
    taffeta and carried bouquets of pink
    gladioli, larkspur and gypsophilia,
    tied with matching bows. Both wore
    pink headdresses and mitts similar to
    the maid of honor.
    Miss Cathy Upton, niece of the
    bridegroom, was flower girl. She wore
    yellow organdy over a hooped skirt
    of yellow taffeta. She carried a
    colonial bouquet of pink and yellow
    rosebuds and gypsophilia tied with
    pink and yellow ribbon. Her tiny
    yellow headdress matched the brides-
    maids.
    Elwin Upton, brother of the bride-
    groom, was best man and the ushers
    were Robert Jaenecki and Maurice
    Upton.
    Preceding the ceremony, tradi-
    tional wedding music was provided
    by William F. Etcheid and Clifford
    Upton sand, "O Promise Me," and,
    "The Lord's Prayer."
    The bride's mother chose a navy
    and white print with white acces-
    sories and wore a corsage of mized
    flowers.
    Mrs. George Upton wore a light
    blue print with white accessories and
    wore a corsage of mized flowers.
    Mrs. Caroline Schnoor, grand-
    mother of the bride, chose gray and
    white sheer print with black acces-
    sories and wore a corsage of mixed
    flowers.
    Following the ceremony, a recep-
    tion was held for one hundred guests
    at the home of the bride, a buffet
    supper was served.
    After a wedding trip to the Thou-
    sand Islands, the couple will reside
    in the Townline road, Wilson.
    Both the bride and bridegroom are
    graduates of Wilson Central school.
    Guests attended from Buffalo, Ro-
    chester, Niagara Falls and Lockport.

    EAST WILSON, May 10.-Mrs.
    Maisy Upton, wile of George Upton,
    of the Town Line road, died today
    at the home of her sister. Mrs.
    Louise Stevens, also of the Town
    Line road. Mrs. Upton was spending
    a vacation at her sister's home
    when she died suddenly. She had
    been In ill health for several weeks.
    Mrs. Upton is survived by her
    husband, George Upton; one
    daughter, Mrs. Elizabeth Brandt, of
    Niagara Falls, and six sons, Maurice,
    of Youngstown, Cecil, of Niagara
    Falls, and Elwln, Lawrence.
    Clifford and Melvin, all of the Town
    line road.
    The funrral plans have not been
    completed.

    Wilson, Feb.20.-The marriage of
    Miss Mary E. Schnoor, daughter of
    Mr. and Mrs. Herman Schnoor of the
    Beebe road, to Benjamin H. Zastrow
    was solemnized at the North Ridge
    German Lutheran parsonage Wednesday
    afternoon.. February 18th, at 4
    o'clock, Rev. John P. Barkow officiating.
    The bride was attired in a
    gown, of cocoa colored canton crepe
    and carried white carnations. She
    was attended by her sister. Miss Mildred
    Schnoor, who wore a gown Of
    henna canton crepe and also carried
    white carnations. Herman Zastrow,
    brother of the bride, acted as best
    man. Immediately following the
    ceremony an elaborate supper was
    served at the home' of the bride's
    parents, covers being laid for fifteen,
    only the immediate families of the
    contracting parties being present.
    The house and table decorations were
    pretty In pink and white. The couple
    will make their home at Wilson upon
    their return from a short wedding
    journey.-

    Wednesday.

    Edgar Bickford, were held from her
    late home on Sunday, and burial
    was in North Ridge cemetery. Mr.
    and Mrs. Bickford were former
    residents of this locality, having
    lived on the Church road many
    years ago.

    -Mrs. Annette
    Brookins Blckford. 76 years old, of
    the Town Line road, died last night,
    following a brief Illness. She was
    born ln the town of Porter and came
    here 57 years ago, when she married
    the late W. Edgar Bickford, and had
    resided here since.
    Mrs. Bickford was active ln . the
    W. C. T. U. and for many years was
    a Sunday school teacher ln the
    Presbyterian church. She Is survived
    by two daughters, Mrs. Lonson Stevens
    and Mrs. Mazle Upton, both of
    Wilson; one son. Olenn, of Erie, Pa.;
    13 grandchildren and two great-great
    grandchildren.
    Private funeral services will be held
    tomorrow, with the Rev. I. W. Jones,
    of the Wilson Baptist church, officiating.
    Interment will be ln North
    Ridge cemetery.

    officiated. Burial was in St, John's
