WILSON - Glenn A. Rohring,
70, of 3609 Wilson-Cambria
Road, died at Mount View
Hospital, Lockport, Tuesday
(Sept. 3, 1968) after a long
illness.
He was born in Wilsoi. May)
21, 1898, the. son of William arn
Fredericka Kross Rohring. He
married the former E l s ie
Smalling Feb. 23, 1922 in- North
Ridge. .
Mr. Rohring was an exempt
member of the South Wilson
Fire Co. and a member of St.
Peter's Liithefan Church.
Besides his wife he is-survived
by two daughters, Mrs;
Raymond Fredericks and Mrs.
Ralph Austin, both of Wilson;
four brothers, E 1 w o o d ,
Clarence, Levell, all of Wilson,
and Wesley of Lockport; a
sister, Mrs. Edward Urtel of
Ransomville, and two grandchildren.
Friends may call at the
Hamilton and Clark Funeral
Chapel from 2 to 4 and 7 to
9 p.m. Services will be held
there Friday at 2 p.m. with
the Rev. David Musall officiating.
Burial will be in Acacia
Park Cemetery.

WILSON, Nov. 9-Former chair-
man of the Town Board of Assessors,
William C. Rohring, 82. of
Lake Ave., died yesterday (Nov. 8,
1955) in Ransomville General Hospital
where he had been a patient
for several weeks.
Born in Germany Dec. 5, 1872,
Mr. Rohring came to the United
States with his parents in 1885. The
family took up residence in Brayley
Rd. His parents were Charles and
Wilhelmina Rohring.
Mr. Rohring married Reka Kraus
of this village in 1893. She died
in 1931. He was married to Cecilia
Kiegler, Buffalo, in 1933.
Survivors include his wife; five
sons, Elwood, Glenn,-.Clarence,
Wesley and Levell Rohring; a'
daughter, Mrs. Mabel Urtel, all of,
the Town of Wilson; two stepsons
August Kiegler, Buffalo, and Paul
Kiegler, Hopewell. Va.; 20 grandchildren
and 28 great grandchildren.
He was predeceased by a son, Wilbur-
Rohring. All his children were
born during his first marriage.
Mr. Rohring operated a farm in
Town Line Rd. until 1926 when
he retired from farming. He served
as tax collector for two years, as
superintendant of highways for 10
years and as a member of the Board
of Assessors for 20 years, 18 of
which as chairman.
Funeral services will be conducted
at 2 p.m. Friday at thc residence,
and at St. Peter's Evangelical Lutheran
Church. North Ridge, at
2:30. Burial will be in the Lutheran
Cemetery. North Ridge. The Rev.
Carl W. Oldach will officiate.

Wilson, died early this morning In
Memorial hospital, Niagara Falls, after
an Illness of six montfts.
Besides the husband Mrs. Rohring Is
survived by one daughter, Mrs. Mabel
Urtle, of Wilson, six sons, Ellwood,
Glen, Clarence, Wesley and Lilbert, all
of Wilson, and LeVell, of Niagara Falls,
14 grandchildren, one sister, Lena
Schcffler, of Wilson, and one brother,
John Kroff, of Grand Rapids, Mich.
