GLENA - Roy M. Glena passed away Saturday afternoon. May 30, 1999, at his home, Ernest Rd., Town of Royalton. He is survived by his wife, Emma (nee Giertz), two sons and one daughter, Donald of Buffalo, Carlos at home, Mrs. Ronald Newton of Medina; five grandchildren; two brothers. John and Avery, both of Akron; four sisters, Mrs. Ellis Chapin of South Bryon, NY.; Mrs. Richard Ribbeck of Lockport; Mrs. Floyd Johnson and Mrs. Charles Webster, both of Akron; also several nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the family home, where funeral services will be held Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock and 2:30 at Trinity Lutheran Church. Wolcottsville for the Rev. Herman Ewald officiating. Burial in Wolcottsville Cemetery.

MIDDLEPORT - Mrs. Emma Glena, 62, of 8972 Ernest Road, died Saturday (April 5,
1969) in Medina Memorial Hospital after an illness of one year. Mrs. Glena, daughter of the late. Frederick and Augusta (Martin) Giertz, was born June 25, 1906 in the town of Royalton. She was the wife of Roy Glena, who died in 1959. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Wolcottsville. Survivors include two sons, Donald of Lockport, and Carlos of Sanborn; a daughter, Mrs. Ronald (Delores) Newton of Middleport; a brother, Frank Giertz of Lockport, seven grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Friends may. call at their convenience at her home where funeral services will be held Tuesday at' 2 p.m. Services also will be held in the Trinity Lutheran Church at 2:30 p.m. The Rev. C. B. Reichert, pastor of the church, will officiate at both services.; Burial will be in Trinity Lutheran Church Cemetery

Louis E. Glena passed away at his home in Wolcottsville Monday morning, January 28. He is survived by 3 sons, Roy of Middleport. John and Avery, both of Wolcottsville, 4 daughters, Anna of Wolcottsville, Mrs. Mary Chapin of Middleport, Mrs. Lillian Ribbeck of Lockport, Mrs. Alice Johnson of Akron. 36 grandchildren, Several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at his late home January 31, at 2:30 o'clock. Rev. Herman Ewald officiating. Burial will be in Mountain Ridge cemetery.

Frederick Giertz died Thursday at the home on the Johnny Cake road. He is survived by his wife Augusta, two daughters, Mrs. Charles Duchow of Gasport and Mrs. Roy Glena at home, sons, Edward and Frank Giertz of Gasport, three brothers, Henry of Lockport, John and August and a sister, Mrs. Fred Blumreich of Royalton Center ands five grand children. The funeral will be held on Sunday afternoon from the home at 2 o'clock and at 3 o'clock from Trinity Lutheran Church, Wolcottsville with burial in Wolcottsville cemetery. The Rev. Herman Ewald will officiate.
