George M. Vaeth, 73 of
1616 Seymour Ave., died yesterday-
in the Roswell Park
Hospital, Buffalo, after a long
illness.
He was born May 12, 1887,
in Utica, a son of Christopher
and Elizabeth Vaeth. He was
educated in St. Mary's School
and the Utica public schools.
In 1909 ha married Theresa
M. McNulty in St John's
Church, Utica. She died Jan.
25, 1936.
Mr. Vaeth was a photo
engraver and printer. He was
employed for 48 years at the
Mohawk Engraving Company.
He retired in March, 1957.
He was a member of the
Church of the Blessed Sacrament.
He was a charter member
of the Photo Engravers
Union.
He leaves a son, Robert G.
Vaeth. and a grandson, Richard
Brian, both of North
Tonawanda; a sister, Mrs.
Michael Buckley, of Utica,
and s e v e r a l nieces and
The funeral will be at 9
Thursday from the Ortner
Funeral Home. 130 Eagle St.,
and at 9:30 from the Church
of the Blessed Sacrament
where a requiem Mass will be
offered. Burial will be in St.
Mary's Cemetery, Utica.
Calling hours are from 2 to
4 and 7 to 9 tomorrow.

George married MCNULTY, Theresa in 1910. Theresa (daughter of MCNULTY, Edward and O'MALLEY, Margaret) was born about 1889 in Utica, Oneida County, NY; died on 25 Jan 1936 in Utica, Oneida County, NY. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]
