    Choraliers, Arthur Ruff, 49. of 1819 Michigan Ave., died
    today (May 14, 1963).
    Mr. Ruff died at Memorial
    Hospital after an illness of
    three weeks. He was active in
    the singing groups until he
    became ill.
    Mr. Ruff, a native of Buffalo,
    lived in Niagara Falls
    for 48 years. He was an employe
    of Achcson Graphite
    Plant. National Carbon Co,
    for 30 years.
    During World War II, Mr.
    Ruff participated in the inva-
    sion of Africa in 1942.
    Surviving are his wife, Mrs.
    Florence G. Ruff; a daughter,
    Susan L. Ruff; a son, John K.
    Ruff; his mother, Mrs. Henri-
    etta Ruff; two sisters, Mrs.
    Erwin (Helen) Bacon and Miss
    Loretta Ruff; and two
    brothers, William and Rich-
    ard Ruff, all of this city.
    Services will be from the
    residence in Michigan Avenue
    at 2 p.m. Friday and from St.
    Paul C h u r c h at 2:30 Rev.
    Theodore L. Menter will officiate.
    Burial will be in St.
    Paul L u t h e r a n Cemetery,
    Bergholtz.

    John Ruff, 3225 Ely avenue, died at
    his home late Saturday after a short
    Illness. He was 57 years old.,
    Mr. Ruff was a native of Germany,
    he was employed for 12 years by the
    Frontier Bronze corporation. He had
    a large number of friends ini the city.
    He.ls survived. by his. wife,. Mrs. Henrietta
    Ruff; three sons, William, Arthur
    and Richard Ruff, and two daughters,
    Miss Loretta Ruff and Mrs. Helen
    Bacon, all of this city; threes brothers,
    Alex Ruff, of this city, and Raymond
    Ruff, of Buffalo, and a' third,

    Henry Voelker, 70 years old, a lifelong resident of Bergholz, died yesterday at his home on the Niagara road. He had been in ill health for the past eleven years but it was not until Tuesday, when he was stricken with paralysis, that his condition became serious. For the past 30 years Mr. Voelker had been proprietor of a general store at Bergholz. Surviving are a wife, Augusta; three sons, John Voelker of Buffalo, Charles Voelker of Niagara Falls and Henry Voelker, Jr., of Bergholz; seven daughters, the Misses Louise and Esther Voelker of Los Angeles, Mrs. Lebrecht Schultz and Mrs. Albert Grobengieser of Niagara Falls and Mrs. George Heuer, Mrs. Valerius Ferchen and Mrs. Remhard Wienke of Bergholz, and 20 grandchildren. The funeral will be held Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the residence and half an hour later, standard time, from the St. Jacob's church. Rev. Otto Bruss officiating. Interment will be in the St. Jacob's cemetery.

    Funeral of Henry Voelker Is Held
    Was Born in Bergholtz; Had Lived There 70 Years.
    BERGHOLTZ, July 28.-Henry Voelker, Sr., of Niagara street, who died at his home, removes one of the best known residents of Niagara county. Born in this village 70 years ago, he lived here all his life. For the past 30 years he had been proprietor of a general store on Niagara. street. Last week Tuesday he was stricken with paralysis from which he died Thursday morning. The funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at the family home, and the St. Jacob's church, the Rev. Otto Bruss officiating. Burial was in St. Jacob's cemetery. The floral tributes were many And beautiful. He leaves a wide circle of friends, and is survived by his wife, Augusta. three sons, John of Buffalo, Charles, Niagara Falls, and Henry Jr. of this village, seven daughters, the Misses Louise and Esther Voelker, of Los Angeles, Calif., Mrs. Leberecht Schultz and Mrs. Albert Grobengieser, of Niagara Falls, and Mrs. George Heuer, Mrs. Valerius Ferchen and Mrs. Reinhard Wienke, of this village, and 20 grandchildren.

The funeral will be held Monday afternoon at o'clock from the residence and half an hour later from St. Jacob's church. Rev.     Henry Heuer Dies at Bergholtz Home
    Born in Wheatfield; Funeral. Services Monday Afternoon.
    BERGHOLTZ, March 2.-Henry Heuer, 73 years old, lifelong resident and farmer of Niagara county, died yesterday at his home in Bergholtz following a brief illness.
    The deceased was born in the town of Wheatfield and spent all of his life, with the exception of seven years on the same farm. Seven years ago he retired and has lived in Bcrgholtz since that time.
    He is survived by his wife, Christine; six sons, Fred C. of Niagara Falls, David C., George M., Henry Jr., and John A., of Bergholtz, and the Rev. Louis E. Heuer, of Akron, N. Y. Four daughters, Mrs. William Wittkop, North Tonawanda, Mrs. John Gombert and Mrs. Carl Voelker, Niagara Falls, and Mrs. Fred Dinger, of Bergholtz,
    Funeral services will be held at the home in Bergholtz, Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock and at 2:30 o'clock from St. Jacob's Church, the Rev. 0. Bruss officiating, Interment will be in Bergholtz cemetery.

    Mrs. Christine Heuer, for many
    years a resident of Bergholtz, died
    this morning at the home of her
    daughter, Mrs. Charles Voelker,
    1831 Michigan avenue, this city.
    Mrs. Heuer, who was 85 years old,
    had been In poor health for some
    time but was seriously ill only a
    few days. She was the widow of
    Henry Heuer, who until his death
    several years ago was one of the
    most prominent of the older residents
    of Bergholts.
    Mrs. Heuer is survived by five
    sons and four daughters, David.
    George, Henry and John Heuer, of
    Bergholtz. the Rev. Louis Heuer,
    of Holllday's Cove. W. Va., Mrs
    William Witkop, of North Tonawanda.
