MRS. MATILDA VOELKER
DIES AT CAMBRIA
CAMBRIA, N. Y.-Mrs. Matilda
M. Voelker, 78 years old, widow of
Ferdinand Voelker, died Friday at
the family home In the town of
Cambria. Mrs. Voelker is survived
by one son, Elmer Voelker, and one
daughter, Mrs. Rudolph Bohnestadt,
both of Cambria, and two
brothers, Herman and Frank
Mlelke, of Pekin, N. Y. Four grandchildren,
one great grandchild and
several nieces and nephews also
survive.
Funeral services were held from
the home of the daughter, Mrs.
Bohnestadt. Upper Mountain road,
town of Cambria, this afternoon
at 2 o'clock, and at 2:30 a t St.
Andrew's church at Pekln. The
Rev. Charles A. Schmidt will officiate.
Interment will be ln St
Andrew's cemetery.

SANBORN, March 16.-Mr. and
Mrs. Ferdinand Voelker celebrated on
March 10. with friends and relatives,
in honor of their golden wedding anniversary,
at their home here. Mr.
and Mrs. Voelker were married at
Cambria on the Flach homestead in \
1887, and have resided in this vicinlty
ever since. The house was
beautifully decorated In yellow and
white with golden wedding bells. The
tables were in yellow and white and
the honored table was centered with
a beautiful wedding cake and gold ,
candle holders on either side.
The honored guest was dressed In
black crepe and wore a corsage of
roses and hyacinth tied with gold,
which was presented to her at the
table by her grandson and daughter
Mr. and Mrs. R. Kraase. Mrs. Zuch,
the only surviving bridesmaid, was
among the guests.
The evening was spent in opening
the many beautiful and useful gifts.
The Rev. C. Schmidt gave a short
talk, after which a mock wedding
was performed by the young people,
the clothes worn during the ceremo-
ny were worn 50 years ago.
She received congratulations from
the following guests who were present:
her daughter and son, Mr. and
Mrs. Rudolph Bohenstadt. and family;
Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Voelker and
family and her grandchildren, Mr.
and Mrs. Reinhold Kraase. of San-
born: Mr. and Mrs. Fred Voelker. of
Lockport, her brothers, Mr. and Mrs.
Frank Mielkie, William Milkie and
Herman Milkie: the Rev. and Mrs.
Charles Schmidt, Mr. and Mrs. Nor-
man Mielkie. Arthur Milkie. Mr. and
Elmer Mielkie, Mr. and Mrs. Elmer
Hasley. Mr. and Mrs. Rudolph Has-
ley. Mrs. Otto Stoeltlng. Mr. and
Mrs. William Heskie. all of Sanborn
and Pekin; Mr. and Mrs. Mull and
Mr. and Mrs. John Maybond. of
Martinsville; Mr. and Mrs. Lambert
