    A wedding beautiful in its simpli-
    city and charm was solemnized Sat-
    urday afternoon , June 27, at the St.
    Paul's Evangelical Lutheran church,
    when Loretta Ruff, daughter of Mrs.
    Henrietta Ruff, 3220 Ely avenue, was
    united in marriage to William Good-
    berry, son of W. Goodberry, of King-
    ston, Ont.
    The ceremony was performed by
    Rev. Gustav Ziemer. The party entered
    the church to the strain of the Log-
    engrin wedding march, played by Miss
    Ruth Schultz.
    The bride was lovely in white taf-
    feta with long tulle veil edged in lace
    the crown being made of seed pearls.
    She carried a bouquet of white roses
    and baby's breath, tied with taffeta
    ribbon.
    Mrs. Erwin P. Bacon, sister of the
    bride, was matron of honor and wore
    pink satin with baby blue accessories
    and carried a bouquet of pink roses
    and baby's breath, tied with blue satin
    ribbon.
    The groom was attended by Orran
    Downs. The ushers were william Ruff
    and Arthur Ruff, brothers of the
    bride.
    The bride's mother wore black
    triple sheer over figured crepe and
    a corsage of roses and sweet peas.
    The church was beautilfully decorat-
    ed with flowers and was filled with
    relative and friends of the young
    couple.
    Following the ceremony a reception
    was held for relatives and friends at
    the home of the bride's mother. The
    bride's table, which was laid for ten
    was centered with a beautilful four-tier
    wedding cake, flanked by white taper
    in crystal candle-holders.
    The wedding cake was presented to
    the bride and groom by Mrs. F. Good-
    berry. Thirty-five guests were present.
    Later Mr. and Mrs. Goodberry left
    for a short motor trip through Canada.
    Upon their return they will reside at
    1649 Weston avenue.
    The bride's going-away outfit was
    rose biege and brown, with brown ac-
    cessories.
    Out-of-town guests were Mr. and
    Mrs. Kline, Walter Ruff and Ferdi-
    nand Ruff, all of Buffalo.
    Among those who entertained the
    bride were Mrs. H Ruff, Mrs. F. Good-
    berry and Miss Mary Wuro.

    John Ruff, 3225 Ely avenue, died at
    his home late Saturday after a short
    Illness. He was 57 years old.,
    Mr. Ruff was a native of Germany,
    he was employed for 12 years by the
    Frontier Bronze corporation. He had
    a large number of friends ini the city.
    He.ls survived. by his. wife,. Mrs. Henrietta
    Ruff; three sons, William, Arthur
    and Richard Ruff, and two daughters,
    Miss Loretta Ruff and Mrs. Helen
    Bacon, all of this city; threes brothers,
    Alex Ruff, of this city, and Raymond
    Ruff, of Buffalo, and a' third,
    brother in Germany, and one sister,
    also living In Germany. Two grandchildren,
    Cora May and Robert Bacon,
    also survive.
    The funeral will be held from the
    family homo at 2 p. m. tomorrow,
    with services at St. Paul's Lutheran
    church at 2:30 p. m., the Rev. Gustav
    Zlemer officiating. Burial will be In
    Oakwood cemetery,
