    Theodore J. DeLorenzo, a building contractor and
    former Niagara Falls Planning Board chairman, died
    early today (May 4, 1963) in Memorial Hospital. He was 54.
    He collapsed Friday afternoon while working on a
    house his firm was building in Military Road near Lewis-
    ton Road.
    Mr. DeLorenzo spent most of his life in the building
    business. He formed the Ted DeLorenzo Building Co.
    about 30 years ago.
    He was a member and
    chairman of the City Planning
    Board for 10 years, a former
    member of the Zoning Board
    the end of of Appeals and was a member
    of the Niagara County Plan-
    ning Board.
    He was a past president of
    the Niagara Falls Home Builders
    Association and a past
    vice president of the New
    York State Home Builders
    Association.
    First President
    More recently he was the
    first president of tiie newly
    formed Frontier Civic Association,
    which aimed to institute
    and promote civic activities
    in the area in the interest
    of all citizens.
    He was born in this city
    and was graduated from Niagara
    Falls High School. He
    lived at 473 17th St.
    He was a 30-year member
    of the Cristoforo Colombo Society,
    a member of the Century
    Club, third and fourth
    degree member of the Knights
    of Columbus, the First Friday
    Club and Holy Name Society
    at St. Joseph's Church. He
    was a former member of the
    North End Kiwanis Club.

    Surviving are h i s widow,
    the former Carmella Caprio;
    a daughter, Annette DeLorenzo;
    his stepmother. Mrs. Man
    DeLorenzo; two brothers. FrcS.
    and Fausto DeLorenzo. both
    of this city; two sisters. Mrs.
    CI. Thomas Virtuoso and Mrs.
    Herschel Wade, both of this
    city; and three stepbrothers,
    Samuel and Vincent DeLoren-
    zo, both of Niagara Falls, Ont.,
    and Air Force Lt. Col. claude
    DeLorenzo of Albuquerque,
    N.M.
    Services will be held Tues-
    day at 8:45 a.m. at Spallino
    Funeral Home and at 9:15 at
    St. Joseph's Church. Burial
    will be in St. Joseph's Ceme-
    tery.

    Nicholas DeLorenzo, 83. of 848 20th St., died today (May 2, 1961) in Ransomville General Hospital. A native of Pentone, Italy,he lived here for 60 years. He was a retired stonemason and was a member of the Bricklayers, Masons and Plasterers International Union of America.Survivors include six sons,Theodore, Fred, Fausto and Vincent DeLorenzo, all of this city, Samuel DeLorenzo, Niagara Falls, Ont., and 1st Lt.Claude De Lorenzo, stationed with the U. S. Air Force in Albuquerque, N. M.; two daughters, Mrs. G. Thomas (Laura) Virtuoso, and Mrs.Herschel (Flora) Wade, both of Niagara Falls; one sister,Mrs. Nick Pavone, Chicago Heights, Ill.; 18 grandchildren,two great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.Funeral services will beheld at 8:45 a.m., Friday at the M. J. Coluccl Funeral Chapel and at 9:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Mt Carmel Church. Burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery.Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 p.m. today.
