    Betty J. "Betsy" "Bets" Manchester, age 75 of Ransomville, died unexpectedly at her residence on Tuesday November 21, 2017.
     
    Betty was born March 12, 1942 in Clarion, PA, the daughter of the late John and Judy (Smith) Aaron. She was a graduate of LaSalle High School and received her cosmetology license. Betty married Paul H. Manchester on September 8, 1962 and they resided in Ransomville since 1972. Betty worked as a Hair Stylist from her home for many years. As a teenager she had worked at Dairy Queen and through the years had worked at Beutel Greenhouses, Henrich Chevrolet, and Garden Gate Florist in Wilson.
     
    She was was a member of North Ridge United Methodist Church. She liked camping with her family and fishing on the Niagara River with her father and mother.
     
    Her husband, Paul, predeceased her on November 6, 2015. She is survived by two sons, Dennis (Donna) Manchester of Gasport and Brian (Dorene) Manchester of Ransomville; five granddaughters, Brittany, Rachelle (Scott) Solotes, Tiffany, Taylor, and Trisha; and a brother, John Aaron of Niagara Falls, NY.
     
    Friends may call at HARDISON FUNERAL HOME, 3648 Ransomville Road, Ransomville on Friday from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 PM. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, November 25, at 2:00 PM in the North Ridge United Methodist Church, Town of Cambria, with the Rev. Matthew Worley officiating. Burial will follow in North Ridge Cemetery, Town of Cambria. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to North Ridge United Methodist Church, 3930 North Ridge Rd., Lockport, NY 14094.

    Betty married MANCHESTER, Paul H on 8 Sep 1962 in Niagara Falls, Niagara County, NY. Paul (son of MANCHESTER, Howard H and BARRETT, Ruby) was born on 11 Sep 1936 in Niagara Falls, Niagara County, NY; died on 6 Nov 2015 in Town of Amherst, Erie County, NY. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]

    Avenue, announce the engagement of their
    daughter, Miss Betty Jean Aaron, to Paul
    Manchester, son of Mr. and Mrs. Howard

    Miss Aaron is a graduate of LaSalle
    High School and Doyle's Beauty School,
    Buffalo.
    Mr. Manchester is an alumnus of Trott
    Vocational High School and served four
    years in the U. S. Navy.

    United Presbyterian Church.

    double-ring ceremony uniting the daughter
    of Mr. and Mrs. John W. Aaron,
    Lindbergh Avenue, and the son of Mr.
    and Mrs. Howard H. Manchester, 96th
    Street
    The bride's gown featured a. bouffant
    skirt with lace trim and chapel
    train. Her triple illusion veil was caught
    to a queen's crown.of crystal and pearls
    and she carried white orchids and roses.
    She was given in marriage by her
    father.
    MRS. BARBARA HAGUE, the bride-
    groom's sister, was the matron of honor
    attired in a peacock blue street-length
    sheath of silk organza and a matching
    queen's crown. She carried white and yellow
    carnations
    Similarly attired in orchid were Mrs.
    Lynda Aaron and Miss Helen Strozewski.

    John Aaron, the brides' brother, was
    best man, and guests were seated by
    Robert Hague and Terry Bowman.

    A RECEPTION was held at the La-
    Salle Sportsmen's Club.
    After a wedding trip to Washington,
    D.C . the newlyweds will reside in
    S. 86th Street.

    Grandview Convalescent
    Home, Clarion, Pa., the father
    of two Niagara Falls residents,
    died there Tuesday (Aug. 31,
    1971).
    Born in Clarion County, May
    15, 1891, the son of Raymond
    and Emma Cyphert Aaron, he
    married the former Minta
    Wvant on June 8. 1912. She died
    in'1969;
    Survivors include two sons.
    John W. Aaron of this city, and
    the Rev. A. Roy Aaron of
    Clarion; a daughter, Mrs.
    Glenn (Hazel) Bowman of this
    city; a brother, Ralph Aaron of
    Clarion, 11 grandchildren and
    13 great-grandchildren. A son,

    Funeral services from the
    Robert V. Burns Funeral
    Home, Clarion, will be held at
    11 a.m. Friday. Burial will be
    in Asbury Cemetery.
