    adorned the altar and large baskets
    of gladioli and pom-pons decorated
    the chancery of St. Martin's
    Lutheran church, Martinsville
    for the marriage of Miss Bernice
    A. Wollenberg, daughter of Mr.
    and Mrs. Arnold H. Wollenberg
    of Sweeney street, and Everett L.
    Weinheimer. son of Mr. and Mrs.
    Charles H. Weinheimer, of Shawnee
    road. The wedding took
    place Saturday, October 5 at 3
    P. m, the Rev. Berner officiating.
    During the service Eugene
    Thiele sang "Because" and Mrs.
    Brown sang "I Love You Truly."
    The bride, given in marriage
    by her father, wore a gown of
    white brocaded satin designed
    with a fitted bodice, sweetheart
    neckline and long fitted sleeves
    tapering at the wrists. The full
    gathered skirt fell into a chapel
    length train. Her full length
    veil of illusion was arranged with
    a satin crown and orange blos-
    soms. The veil was originally
    worn by the bridegroom's sisterin-

    law at her wedding. She wore
    a strand of pearls, the gift of the
    bridegroom, and carried a large
    colonial bouquet of white pompoms,
    snapdragons and yellow
    roses tied with white satin ribbon.
    Miss Gladys Wollenberg, sister
    of the bride, maid of honor; wore
    yellow chiffon over taffeta, fashioned
    with fitted bodice, three
    quarter sleeves and a full sqirt
    Her headdress was a green beaded
    bonnet with yellow shoulder
    'length veil. She wore a double
    strand of pearls with matching
    bracelet. Her colonial bouquet
    was of white pompoms and orchid
    snapdragons, tied with silver
    ribbon.
    The Misses Elizabeth Stowell
    and Vera Fritz, as bridesmaids,
    wore blue gowns, with brocaded
    satin bodices and full tulle skirts
    over taffeta. Both wore pearls
    and carried small colonial bou-
    quets of yellow pom-poms and
    snapdragons. Their headdresses
    were yellow flowers with matching
    short veils.
    The flower girl, Jo Ann Lambert,
    cousin of the bridegroom,
    wore a pale green gown with an
    orchid hair ribbon. She carried a
    small white basket filled with
    garden flowers and wore a small
    heart shaped locket, the gift of
    the bride.
    Edward Weinheimer, brother oi
    the bridegroom was best man
    and the ushers were Lyle Freck,
    cousin of the bridegroom, and
    Louis Fritz.
    The bride's mother selected a
    fuechia dress with white gloves
    and black accessories while the
    bridegroom's mother was attired
    in a claret wine velvet dress with
    black accessories. Both wore corsages
    of mixed flowers.
    A wedding dinner was held in
    the church dining room for the
    bridal party and immediate famlies.
    A three - tiered wedding
    cake centered the table, topped
    with a miniature bride and groom,
    used to decorate the wedding
    cake of the bride's mother. Place
    cards were lettered In gold and
    garden flowers and streamers oi
    white, yellow and blue crepe
    paper decorated the room. In the
    evening a reception for 175 guests
    was held at Labor hall.
    The bride presented her attendants
    with onyx and black
    compacts. The bridegroom gave
    his attendants ties and leather billfolds.
    Mr., and Mrs. Everett Weinheimer
    left for a wedding trip
    to the East, the bride wearing a
    hunter green wool suit with
    black accessories and a corsage of
    mixed flowers. Upon their return
    they will live temporarily
    with Mr. Weinheimer's parents.
    Prenuptlai parties for the bride
    were given by Mrs. Arnold Wollenberg
    and Miss Gladys Wollenberg,
    Miss Vera Fritz and Mrs.
    George Loveland.

    Martin A. Wollenberg, 93, 1698 Sweeney St., died Saturday in DeGraff
    Memorial Hospital. Born in Germany, Mr. Wollenberg lived in Martinsville
    since 1864 when his parents settled there. A farmer the greater part of his
    lifetime, Mr. Wollenberg retired 15 years ago. He was the oldest member of
    St. Martin's Lutheran Church and a charter member of Rescue Fire Company No.
    5 of North Tonawanda. Surviving are a son, Arnold; two daughters, Miss
    Charlotte Wollenburg and Mrs. Amanda McManamin; three grandchildren.
    Services will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. in Hamp Funeral Home, 37 Adam St. The
    Rev. Theophilus Berner will officiate. Burial will be in St. Martin's
    cemetery.

    Mrs. Caroline Wollenberg of the
    Tonawanda Creek road died this morn
    ing at her home after a. lingering illness.
    She was 57 years old. Besides
    her husband, Martin A. Wollenberg,
    she is survived by a son, Arnold, two
    daughters, Charlotte and Amanda, one
    brother, Joseph Frech and five sisters,
    Mrs. Mary Edmonds, Mrs. Louise Hepp,

    Mrs. Augusta P. Mante, nee Kandt, 73, of 135 Linwood Ave., died suddenly last night in DeGraff Memorial Hospital. She was the wife of the late Albert Mante. She is survived by five sons, Reinhardt, of Bergholtz, Andrew, Edwin and Oscar of North Tonawanda, and Martin of St. Johnsburg; two daughters, Mrs. Arnold Wollenberg, of North Tonawanda, and Mrs. Herbert Wilson; one sister, Mrs. Rose Kandt, 12 grandchildren, three great grandchildren. Services will be in the residence of her daughter, Mrs. Herbert Wilson, WA St., Bergholtz, Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock, and 2:30 from Holy Ghost Lutheran Church. The Rev. Victor Dahlke will officiate; interment in Holy Ghost Lutheran Cemetery.

    Gotfried Wollenberg, aged 85 years, died at his home in Martinsville on Friday. He was one of the oldest and best known residents of the suburb. The funeral will be held tomorrow afternoon at 1 o'clock from the late residence and at 2 o'clock from the Martins Church at Martinsville.

    Born Saturday, June 2, 1827; Died Saturday, June 2, 1906. Mrs. Charlotte Wollenberg died at her home in Martinsville Saturday. Her death came on the same day of the week that she was born exactly 79 years before. Mrs. Wollenberg was one of the oldest and most highly respected residents of Martinsville. She was the mother of Gottfried and Martin Wollenberg, Mrs. Ernest Otterstein, Mrs. Mary Broecker and Miss Martha Wollenberg. The funeral will take place from the house at 1:30 Wednesday afternoon. Half an hour later services will be held from St. Martin's church. Interment will take place in Martinsville.

    Joseph Freck passed away at the home
    of his daughter on Cedar street, Buffalo,
    Tuesday evening at 730 o'clock, after a
    severe attack of influenza. He had been
    visiting his daughter,Mrs. Henry Hepp
    for sometime when his death occurred
    Mr. Freck was a well know resident
    of North Tonawanda having lived on
    Nash Road for a number of years. He
    leaves seven children to survive him;
    Mrs. Charles Fehrman, Mrs. Frederick
    Krust. Mrs. David Edwards, Mrs. Martin
    Woolenburg, Mrs. N. B. Zimmerman,
