    GLEN BURNIE, MD — Lt. Col. (Ret.) Arthur E. Wolf, 94, of Glen Burnie, Maryland, passed away on September 20, 2010. Arthur was born and raised in the Town of Wheatfield, NY, prior to moving to Maryland in 1960 in service to his country with the U.S. Army. He proudly served in the Army for 27 years when he retired and promptly went to work as a civilian for the Dept. of the Navy. Arthur was an avid fisherman and enjoyed the outdoors.

    He was the beloved husband of Beatrice Wolf (Hasley); dear brother of Louise Bish of Niagara Falls; devoted father of Kathleen Harrill and Randy Wolf, Sr. of Maryland; loving grandfather of Amy Jones, Amanda Wolf, April Wolf, Amber Wolf and Randy Wolf, Jr.; cherished great-grandfather of Logan and Kelsey Jones. He was preceded in death by brothers, John Wolf, Edwin Wolf, Benjamin Wolf , Kenneth Wolf; and sisters, Lena Landers, Alma Campbell.

    The marriage of Miss Beatrice
    Haseley and Private Arthur E. Wolf
    was quietly solemnized Saturday, at
    7 pm. in the St. John's Lutheran
    church, with the Rev. J. W. Thlemecke
    officiating. The bride la the
    daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Victor
    Haseley, of the Niagara Falls boulevard,
    and Private, Wolf is the son
    of Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Wolf, of this
    city.
    The bride was charming in her
    frock of royal blue transparent velvet,
    moulded bodice, a square neckline
    and short sleeves and a full
    flared skirt. She wore gold sandals
    and a rtnall gold cross, a gift from
    the bridegroom. Her corsage was
    of yellow pom poms and yellow tea
    roses. Her headdress was fashioned
    in small yellow pom poms.
    Her only attendant was Miss Ardls

    Haseley. sister of the bride, she
    wore a beige-colored frock with
    brown accessorles. Her-shoulder
    corsage was of brOnze mums and
    Talisman roses.
    Mr. Benjamin Wolf, brother of the
    bridegroom, was best man.
    The mother of the bride wore a
    black crepe gown with a corsage of
    pink roses and gypsophlla tied With
    gold ribbon. The mother of the
    bridegroom also chose a black crepe
    dress, with a corsage of pink roses
    and gypsophlla tied with gold ribbon.
    Later In the evening a reception
    was held at the home of the bride.
    More than 50 guests attended.
    The house was attractively decorated
    with fall flowers and pink and
    white streamers with large wedding
    bells. Covers were laid for 15 guests
    at the bride's table, which was centered
    by a four-tier wedding cake,
    topped by a miniature bride and
    bridegroom.
    The couple received many beautiful
    gifts.
    Pre-nuptlal affairs Included a
    peach and blue bedroom shower,
    given by Mrs. Victor Haseley and
    Miss Ardls Haseley; a red and white
    kitchen shower, by Miss Alma Wolf;
    a variety shower by Mrs. Elmer Wolf
    and a personal shower by Mrs. Harold
    Korff.
    The brfdes traveling outfit was a
    topaz costume coat of wool and soldier
    blue accessories.
    Mr. and Mrs. Wolf will reside at
    1419 Lelghton avenue, Annlston,
    Alabama. Mr. Wolf is stationed at
    Fort MoClellan in Headquarters Detachment,
    108th Infantry.

    Mrs. Wolf 's Rites Slated
    NORTH TONAWANDA-Funeral services for Mrs. Bertha Stang Wolf, 71, of 2260 Jagow Road, Wheatfield, will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Fretthold Funeral Home and at 2:30 p.m. at St. James Lutheran Church by Rev. Robert Lehman. Burial will be in St. James Lutheran Cemetery. Mrs. Wolf died Wednesday (April 18, 1962) at Sisters of Mercy Hospital, Buffalo. She was a member of St. James Church and a former member of its Ladies Aid Society.
    Surviving are five sons, Benjamin P. Wolf, Wheatfield, Maj. Arthur Wolf, Glen Burnie, Md., Edwin Wolf, Sanborn, John Wolf, Wheatfield, and Kenneth Wolf, stationed at White Sands, N.     Couple Married 50 Years Doesn't Plan Retirement

    Retirement just doesn't seem to fit in the active life that Mr and Mrs. Victor H. Haseley lead. Although they have been married 50 years, Mr. and Mrs. Haseley have no plans to retire. The couple operates a roadside stand of products they raise at their fruit and vegetable farm where they live at 2928 Niagara Falls Blvd. Mr. Haseley retired once in 1965 from the Allen Hershell Company where he was a carpenter but he loves to do a little farming. He found he could keep busy and make a little extra money, too. The North Tonawanda couple, who were married Nov. 2, 1919 in St. John Lutheran Church, will celebrate their goldenanniversary at an open house from 3 to 6 p.m. Sunday in the home of their daughter. Mrs. John (Ardis) Wolf. 6951 Maple Drive. St. Johnsburg. They also have another daughter, Mrs. Arthur (Beatrice) Wolf of Glen Burnie. Md.. and four grandchildren.
