Rebecca (Sollars) Belling, passed away on November 15, 2023
Born in Bellefontaine Ohio on August 28, 1954, she was the daughter of the late Ralph and Jeannette Sollars. Beloved mother of Kimberly (Shawn) McIntyre and Kevin Belling. Cherished Grammy of Ella and Cole Belling and Michael Jacob, Joshua, Allison, and Kristina McIntyre. Sister of Robert Sollars. Great Grandma of A.J. She will also be missed by her loving dog, Tanner.
Rebecca was an avid antiquer. She opened Shawnee County Barns Antique Co Op in 2000. She loved to read, write, and travel. Her greatest love was her children and grandchildren.
Visitation will be Wednesday November 22, 2023, from 4 to 7 PM at the Wattengel Funeral Home, 533 Meadow Drive in North Tonawanda, where Services will follow at 7 PM. If desired memorials may be made to St. Jude’s Childrens Research Hospital or the American Heart Association.

BUFFALO - Ralph E. Belling, of the Town of Pendleton, NY, passed away on Friday, January 28, 2011, at Millard Fillmore Hospital Gates Circle, Buffalo, NY. He was born in Amherst, NY, on September 25, 1922, the son of John and Elsie (Wolf) Belling.

Mr. Belling grew up and had worked on his family’s farm for over 28 years before becoming a mixer with the Durez Chemical Co. in North Tonawanda for 17 years, before retiring in 1984. He delivered food for the Interfaith Food Pantry in North Tonawanda and was a member of the Wendleville Senior Citizens. Mr. Belling enjoyed spending time with his family and taking care of his pets.

He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Donna F. (Hartman) Belling; two sons, Roger J. (Rebecca) Belling of Wheatfield and Roy D. (Patti) Belling of Sanborn; two grandchildren, Kimberly and Kevin; one great-granddaughter, Ella. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Mr. Belling was the brother of the late Naomi Belling and Ruth Wendt.

The family will be present at the RHONEY FUNERAL HOME, 5893 Hoover Road, Sanborn, NY, on Sunday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM. Funeral services will be held Monday at 10:00 AM at St. Martin's Lutheran Church, 322 Old Falls Blvd., North Tonawanda, NY, with the Rev. Devie Ellis officiating. Memorials may be made in his name to the St. Martin's Children’s Bell Chorus or to the NYS Federation of Home Bureau, Inc. Interment in White Chapel Memorial Park, Amherst, NY.

Donna F. Belling

Of the Town of Pendleton, passed away on Friday, October 6, 2023, in Niagara Hospice House. She was born in Tonawanda, NY, on June 28, 1928, the daughter of the late Raymond and Elsie [Gierke] Hartman.
 
Mrs. Belling graduated from Niagara Falls High School. She loved being a homemaker taking care of her family. Mrs. Belling was a member of the Home Bureau and enjoyed doing crafts.

She was the wife of the late Ralph E. Belling, who passed away in January of 2011. Mrs. Belling  is survived by her sons Roger J. Belling and Roy D. (Patti) Belling, four grandchildren Kimberly (Shawn) McIntyre, Kevin Belling, Angel and Lisa Hartman, great-grandchildren Ella, Cole, Michael-Jacob, also many additional great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

She was the sister of the late Douglas Hartman.

Her family will be present on  Thursday October 12,  from 3-7 PM at the RHONEY FUNERAL HOME, 5893 Hoover Road, SANBORN, NY.

Funeral services will be held  on Friday October 13, at 10:00 AM at St. Martin's Lutheran Church, 322 Old Falls Blvd., North Tonawanda, NY, with the Rev. Meghan James officiating.

Memorials in her name to NCCC Foundation for the Home Bureau Scholarship, 3111 Saunders Settlement Road Sanborn, NY 14132. 

Interment in White Chapel Memorial Park, Amherst, NY.
