    Holy family Church was the
    scene of one of the prettiest weddings
    of the year on Saturday.
    August 16 at 10 o'clock when
    Miss Helen Marie Gaynor. daughter
    of Mr. and Mrs. Charles L.
    Gaynor of 8 Button Street became
    the bride of John Carey
    Walsh, son of Mr. and Mrs.
    Frank L. Walsh of 3 Woodruff
    Place. Very Rev. Dean John A.
    Conway, pastor, performed the
    double ring ceremony at a nuptial

    high Mass.
    The bride, given in marriage
    by her father, wore a gown of
    white marquisette with a fitted
    bodice and a long circular train.
    Her fingertip veil was of illusion
    net and lace with a high-beaded
    crown. She carried an arm bouquet
    of white roses. Miss Doris
    Gaynor, sinter of the bride, was
    maid of honor. She wore a gown
    of yellow marquisette and lace
    and a small picture hat of yellow
    net and lace. She carried an arm
    bouquet of yellow gladiolas.
    Mrs. Raymond Zellar, sister of
    the bride and Mrs. Harland Zellar.
    Miss Jean O'Brien, and
    Mrs. William Grant, cousins of
    the bride were the bridesmaids.
    Mrs. Raymond Zellar and Mrs.
    Harland Zellar wore gowns of
    pink marquisette with a full
    skirt trimmed with blue velvet
    bows and large picture hats of
    pink net and lace with matching
    mitts. They carried colonial bouquets
    of pink and blue flowers
    with large pink bows.
    Miss Jean O'Brien and Mrs.
    William Grant wore gowns of
    blue marquisette with full skirt
    trimmed with pink velvet bows
    and large blue picture hats of
    net and lace with matching mitts.
    They carried colonial bouquets
    of pink flowers with large blue
    bows. Miss Joyce Gaynor, niece
    of the bride, was flower girl. She
    wore a gown of yellow dotted
    swlse and a tiara of yellow roses.
    She carried a small colonial bouquet
    of yellow roses.
    Peter Walsh, brother of the
    bridegroom, was best man. David
    Walsh and Thomas Walsh,
    brothers of the bridegroom, were
    ushers.
    The bride's mother wore a
    dark green dress with black and
    luggage accessories and a corsage
    of yellow roses. The bridegroom's
    mother wore a shear
    black dress with matching aecessroies
    and a corsage of talisman
    roses.
    For the occasion the church
    was decorated with gladiolas of
    assorted colors. Miss Kathleen
    Plunkett presided at the organ.
    A wedding breakfast was held
    for the bridal party and the Immediate
    families at Springside
    Inn and a reception for 200
    guests was held at 8 Button
    Street. Mrs. Byron Coomber was
    cateress.
    Prenuptial showers were given
    by Miss Doris Gaynor, Mrs. Raymon
    Zellar, Mrs. Charles Waterhouse,
    Miss Jean O'Brien, Mrs.
    William Grant and Miss Betty
    Reilley.
    For her wedding trip the bride
    wore a pink linen suit with navy
    blue accessories and a corsage
    of pink roses. After their trip
    to Niagara Falls and Canada, Mr.
    and Mrs. Walsh will reside at
    3 Parker Street.
    The bridegroom is employed by
    the P. & C. Family Foods, and
    the bride Is employed by her uncle
    at O'Brien's Appliances.
