    YOUNGSTOWN - Charles A.
    Wasmund, 71, of 1977 Lake
    Road, died Monday (July 15,
    1968) in Veterans Administra-
    tion Hospital, Buffalo, after a
    long illness.
    He was born in the Town of
    Porter and was employed as a
    farmer in that area mmost of
    his life He was a World War I
    veteran and had served with
    the U.S.Army.
    Survivors include his son,
    Richard of Sanborn; two sis-
    ters, Mrs Ida Suitor of Cheek-
    towaga and Mrs Agnes Ernst
    of Lockport, also four grand-
    children and several nieces
    and nephews
    Funeral services will be con-
    ducted Wednesday at 2 p.m at
    the Pike and Jones Funeral
    Home Inc, Sanborn, by the
    Rev. Robert Lehman. Burial
    will be in Wheatfield Cemetery.
    Friends may call at the fu-
    neral home from 2 to 5 and
    7 to 9 pm today.

    RANSOMVILLE, Nov. 3.-Charles
    Wasmund. 76 years old. well known
    Town of Porter farmer for many
    years, died Saturday evening at 6
    o'clock at the family home In the
    Lake road.
    Mr. Wasmund was born in Germany
    but had resided in this vicinity for
    the past 50 years where he was a
    succeasful farmer. He was an active
    member of St. Peter's Lutheran
    church at North Ridge.
    Funeral services will be held from
    the family home tomorrow afternoon
    at 2 o'clock anl at 3 o'clock at St.
    Peter's Lutheran church. North Ridge.
    Interment will be in North Ridge
    cemetery.
    Mr. Wasmund is survived by his
    wife, Frederlcka, Wasmund. at home;
    three sons. Benjamin. Herman and
    Charles, Jr., at home: two daughters.
    Mrx. Charles Ernest, of Ransomville
    and Mrs. Samuel Suitor, of Younga-
    town: a brother. William Wasmund,
    of Niagara Falls and three sisters
    and two brothers in Germany. eight
    grandchildren and two great grand-
    children.

    RANSOMVILLE-Mrs. Fredericks
    Wasmund, 80 years old, died yesterday
    at the home of her daughter.
    Mrs. Agnes Fredericks, of this village.
    Some time ago Mrs. Wasmund
    suffered a hip Injury in a fall and
    had been confined to her bed lor
    the last 10 days.
    Born In Germany, she had resided
    In this community for the
    greater part of her life. Her husband
    died several years ago. In former
    years she was active In the affairs
    of St. Peter's Lutheran church
    at North Ridge, of which she was a
    member.
    Funeral services will be held from
    the Fredericks home on Saturday at
    1 30 p.m. The Rev. Carl Oldach will
    officiate and Interment will be In
    the North Ridge cemetery.
    Besides Mrs. Fredericks, she is
    survived by these daughters and
    sons: Benjamin and Charles Wasmund.
    of the town of Porter, and
    Mrs. Samuel Suitor, of Youngstown.
    She is also survived by a sister in
    Germany. eight grandchildren and
    10 great grandchildren.
