    Frances B. (Boswell) (Pendergast) Ciszek, 90 years old, of Sanborn, died Tuesday, November 20,2007 at Niagara Hospice, Inc. in Lockport. She was born on June 12, 1917 in Fort Worth, TX, the daughter of the late Arthur and Adele (Iverson) Boswell. Mrs. Ciszek attended Fort Worth High School and moved here in 1935. On November 19, 1966 she was married to Sigmund Ciszek at St. John's Church. She worked as a secretary for 34 years at Union Carbide Corp. and retired in 1982. She enjoyed knitting with her knitting group, gardening, bowling, lawn bowling, reading, riding and raising horses and spending time with her family. Mrs. Ciszek is survived by her husband, Sigmund Ciszek; and her children, George P. Pendergast of Niagara Falls and Barbara (Frederick) Jarzab of Grand Island; her grandson, David Janab and great-grandsons, Henry and Stuart Jarzab. Mrs. Ciszek was predeceased by her grandson, Paul Jarzab; her sister, Barbara Allen; and brothers, Arthur Boswell, Roy Boswell and Howard Boswell. Friends may call on Friday from 2 to 4 PM and 7 to 9 PM at the LABUDA FUNERAL HOME, INC., 356 Portage Road. Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 10:45 AM at the funeral home, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 :00 AM at Holy Trinity Church, 1419 Falls Street with Rev. Slawomir Siok officiating. Burial in Holy Trinity Cemetery, Lewiston, Niagara County, NY. Memorial contributions may be made to Niagara Hospice, Inc., 4675 Sunset Drive, Lockport, Niagara County, NY 14094.

    Mrs. Adele Boswell, 151 76th
    St, a resident here for the last 11
    years, died today at Lockport City
    Hospital after a long illness. She
    had been in the hospital for four
    days.
    A native of New Holstein, Wis.;
    the, was the widow of. the late
    Arthur H. Boswell and came to this
    city from Ft Worth, Tex., to live
    wlth a daughter, Mrs. George Pendergast,
    after her husband died.
    Survivors also include three sons,
    Arthur D. Boswell, this city; Howard
    G. Boswell, Houston, Tex., and
    Roy E Boswell, Ft Worth; another
    daughter, Mrs. Robert Alien, Wash-
    ! Ington, D.C.; two sisters, Mrs. Jack
    Horn, Jacksonville, Fla., anad Mrs.
    John Miller, Sheboyan, Wis., and
    nine grandchildren.
    Services will.be held Saturday
    at the Rhoney Funeral Home at a
    time to be announced later. Burial
    will be in Memorial Park Ceme-
    tery.

    Funeral Services to be Held at Sacred Heart Church Monday

    Mrs. Margaret L. Pendergast, widow of Peter Pendergast, died last night at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Edward A Cromley, 9130 Pine Avenue, after a brief illness. The funeral will be held from Mrs. Cromley's home at 8:30 a.m. Monday, with services at Sacred Heart church at 9 a.m. Burial will be in Riverdale cemetery.
    Born in Pike, N.Y., Mrs. Pendergast had lived here 45 years and had many friends in the city. She was a member of the Ladies of the Mascabres. Surviving her are five sons and one daughter, William J., Harold V. and Leonard Pendergast and Mrs. Cromley, all of this city, and Leo C. and Raymond J. Pendergast, of Buffalo; a sister, Mrs. Anna Norton, of this city, and a brother, Peter Skea, also of this city.
