NORTH TONAWANDA-Arthur J. Rumbold, 64,
of 580 Old Niagara Falls Boulevard, died today (Feb.
25, 1967) in DeGraff Memorial Hospital after an illness
of two months.
A lifelong resident of this
city, Mr. Rumbold was a
member of the Sweeney Hose
Co. He was employed by the
Lennbx Furniture Co. in this
cRy for 44 years.
Survivors include his wife,
Mrs. Ru'fina Lucders Rumbold;
daughters, Miss Marilyn
Rumbold, at home, and Mrs.
Nelson (Artha) Nassiff of
Kenmore; three sisters, Mrs.
Laura Waterstrat and Mrs.
eBatrice Kjellerup, both of
Tonawanda, and Mrs. Alvin
(Florence) Dauman of
this city; and three grandchildren.
Friends may call from 2 to
4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. at the
Brunner Funeral Home,
where services will be conducted
at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday
by the Rev. Enno A. Senmoock,
pastor of St. Paul's
Lutheran Church. Burial will
be in St. Paul's Cemetery.

and Mrs. William R. Lueders of 580
Niagara Falls boulevard, announce the
marriage of their daughter, Rufina H
to Arthur J. Rumbold, son of Mr. and
Mrs. Valentine Rumbold, 799 East
Robinson street. The marriage will
be solemnized on Saturday afternoon,
April 28, at 4 p. m., In St. Paul's
Evangelical Lutheran church, 445
Falls boulevard. The Rev. F. A. Hlners
will perform the ceremony.

Mrs. Louise Rumbold, 71, of
799 East Robinson street, died
yesterday morning. Born in Germany,
she had resided in North
Tonawanda the greater part of
her life. She leaves her husband,
Valentine; three daughters, Mrs
Raymond . Waterstrat of Tonawanda,
Mrs. Alvin Dauman and
Mrs. Beatrice Conner of North
Tonawanda; a son, Arthur of
North Tonawanda; three grandchildren,
a sister, Mrs. Edward
Urban, and a brother, Fred Krull
of Tonawanda. Rites will be held
Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock
from the home of Mrs. Dauman,
521 Wall street, North Tonawanda.
The Rev. Walter F. Hetzel
will officiate. Burial will be in
Friedens cemetery.

Jacob Rumbold, aged 79 years,
died yesterday afternoon of bronchitis
at his home on Robinson
street. The deceased was one of the
Tonawandas, oldest and most respected
citizens, having being a resident
here for the past 51 years.
Mrs. Barbara Rumbold, his wife;
three daughters Mrs. Ernstlng, Mrs
Joseph Hyland and Mrs. John Stackhouse,
and t w o sons John and
Walter survive. The notice of the
funeral which will take place on Friday
will be given tomorrow.

Mrs. Barbara A, Rumbold, 85 years
old, widow of Jacob Rumbold, died al
her home at No. 783 Robinson street
this morning, after a lingering illness.
She was born in Germany and had liv-
ed in North Tonawanda during the
past sixty years. Two sons, Valentine
and John Rumbold. and three daughters,
Mrs. Joseph Hyland, Mrs. Frank
Atwood and Mrs. Charles Ernestine,
all of Tonawanda, survive.
