    NEWFANE - Sharon Ann (Beyer) Williams, a lifelong resident of Niagara County, was called to her heavenly home to be with our living Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Friday, October 29, 2010 in Newfane Health Facility, after a lifelong battle with diabetes. Born on October 18, 1947 in Lockport, she was the daughter of James Floyd and Thelma F. Beccue Beyer. Sharon graduated from Wilson High School in 1966 and married her husband, Richard G. Williams on February 25, 1967. Sharon enjoyed playing the accordion, spending time with her favorite cousin, Darlene, horseback riding and delivering her Avon on horseback, doing leather work, reading, ceramics and spending time with her family. Sharon is survived by her husband, Richard G. Williams; her son, Michael J. Williams; two grandsons, Matthew J. Williams and Andrew J. Williams; one sister, Beverly J. (late Richard) Cornelius and one brother, Floyd A. (Helen) Beyer. She was predeceased by her brother, Donald (Barbara) Beyer. Friends may call on Monday and Tuesday 2-4 & 7-9 PM at Lange Funeral Home, Inc., 186 East Ave., Lockport, NY. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 11:00 AM from Trinity Lutheran Church, 67 Saxton St., Lockport, NY. Burial will follow in North Ridge Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Lutheran Braille Workers, Inc., PO Box 5000, Yucaipa, CA 92399-1450, or the American Diabetes Association.

    Cambria Man Stricken Doing Farm Work Dies
    SANBORN-Arthur E. G. Williams, 64, of 6048 Baer Road, died Monday (March 6, 1967) after suffering an apparent heart attack while at work on his Town of Cambria farm.
    Mr. Williams was born in Sanborn and had operated a farm in the area most of his life. He also had been employed 15 years at Norton's Laboratory in Lockport. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Lockport. He is survived by his widow, the former Alvina Wittcopp; three sons, Rev. Edwin Williams, Wall, S.D.; Roger Williams, Newfane, and Richard Williams, North Tonawanda; a daughter, Mrs. David (Kathryn) Rhoadhouse, Gasport, and two brothers, Rev. Walter Williams, Maumee, OH, and Melvin Williams, Ransomville. Mr. Williams is also survived by four sisters, Mrs. Edwin (Alice) Beutel, and Mrs. Alfred (Martha) DeVantier, both of Sanborn; Mrs. William (Josephine) Buerger, Bcrgholtz, and, Mrs. James (Esther) Holladay, Charlotteville, Va., five grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
    Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. in Trinity Lutheran Church, Lockport, Rev. Ernest E. Heuer officiating. Friends may call at Pike and Jones Funeral Home, Sanborn, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday and noon until 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Trinity Lutheran Church. Burial will be in Trinity Lutheran Church Cemetery. The family said contributions to the Organ Memorial Fund, Trinity Lutheran Church, Lockport, would be acceptable as tributes.

    A very beautiful wedding was sol-
    emnlzed at 7:30 o'clock, on Thursday
    evening, In Trinity Lutheran Church
    when Alvina Wittcopp, daughter of Mr.
    and Mrs. Albert Wittcopp. of Lockport
    became the bride of Arthur Williams
    son of Mr. Edward Williams of Sanborn
    The Rev. Meyers performed the
    ceremony. The church was decorated with
    palms and ferns and the ceremony was
    performed under a beautiful white ???.
    The bride, who was given in marriage
    by her father, looked lovely in a whhite
    bridal satin gown, made longer in the
    back and trimmed with lace ruffles and
    rhinestones and long streamers
    with orange blossoms falling from her
    shoulder. Her veil was embroidered and
    arranged in coronet style with pearls
    and rhinestones she carried a shower
    boquet tied with white and silver rib-
    bons.
    The maid of honor, Miss Esther Wil-
    liams was gowned in light blue georg-
    ette. The bridesmaids were Miss Mil-
    dred Schultz gowned in pink georgette.
    Miss Clara Bartlet gowned in purple
    color georgette and Mrs. William
    Berger, Jr. gowned in nile green.
    They all wore white stockings and
    slippers and carried arm bouquets of
    pink roses tied with pink ribbons.
    Arthur Wittcopp was the best man
    and the ushers were, Walter Williams,
    Melvin Williams, Raymond Schultz, and
    William Berger, Jr.
    Immediately following the ceremony
    a reception was held at the home of
    the bride's parents in Lockport covers
    were laid for twenty-five at the bride's
    table which was centered with a won-
    derful wedding cake and white chrys-
    anthemums.
    Guests were present from Niagara
    Falls, LaSalle, Bergholtz, Walmore,
    Sanborn, Tonawanda, Martinsville and
    Lockport. Mr. and Mrs. Williams will
    make their home on the Lockport Rd.
    Sanborn, N.Y.

    Beyer of Wilson were united In
    marriage Saturday afternoon, July
    25, at the home of the bride's parents,
    Rev. Irvin Lynds officiating.
    The Lohengrin wedding march was
    played by Carlton Drew Jr.
    The bride, who was given In
    marriage by her father was lovely
    in a white moire gown fashioned on
    long lines with short jacket Taring
    below the waist. Her fingertip
    veil was made cap shape, encircled
    with a wreath of orange blossoms
    and pearls and she carried an arm
    bouquet of white roses and baby
    breath tied with white ribbon.
    Miss Lena Thomas was maid of
    honor, gowned in yellow moire
    fashioned the same as the bride's
    gown and she carried an arm bouquet
    of talisman roses and blue
    delphinium. Karl Beccue. brother
    of the bride acted as best man. The
    bride's gift to her maid was a white
    beaded evening bag and to his best
    man the groom presented a bill
    fold.
    A reception to the immediate
    families followed the ceremony,
    twelve being seated at the bridal
    table which was attractively decorated
    in yellow and white.
