    WHEATFIELD - Howard R. Sattelberg, age 88, of Wheatfield, passed away Monday, November 8, 2010 in Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital. Born July 1, 1922 in North Tonawanda, son of the late George and Minnie Sattelberg.

    Mr. Sattelberg served in the United States Army during WWII. He retired from the DuPont Plant in the Town of Tonawanda, where he held positions in shipping and receiving. Mr. Sattelberg was a member of Our Lady of Czestochowa Church, member of the DuPont Retiree's Club and the American Legion Post 264.

    Husband of the late Mary M Sattelberg (nee Bishop); beloved father of Carol Sattelberg and the late Alan ( Mary) Sattelberg; brother of the late LaVern Sattelberg; brother-in-law of Dorothy Watt, Carolyn (Leonard) Sicurella and the late Helen Bowman; also survived by many nieces and nephews.

    Friends may call Thursday from 7-9 PM at the WATTENGEL Funeral Home, 307 Oliver St., North Tonawanda. Mass of Christian Burial Friday at 9:30 AM from Our Lady of Czestochowa Church (Please assemble at church.) Interment with Military Honors in White Chapel Memorial Park.     NORTH TONAWANDA - George H. Sattelberg, 70, of 3657 Klemer Road, Town of Wheatfield, died Sunday (Nov.. 18, 1962) at Veterans Administration Hospital, Buffalo, after a lengthy illness. He had been hospitalized for four months. Mr. Sattelberg was a veteran of World War I, serving in France with the U.S. Army. He was employed by the Wurlitzer Co. here for more than 45 years before retiring in
    1960. He was a member of Tonawandas Post No. 264, American Legion, and of St.
    Martin's Lutheran Church. He was a lifelong resident of the Town of Wheatfield. Surviving are his widow, Minnie Wrege Sattelberg; two sons, Howard and LaVerne Sattelberg both of Wheatfield, two brothers, John Sattelberg, this city, and Albert Sattelberg, Wheatfield, two sisters, Mrs. Henry Hoyer, Bergholtz, and Mrs. Hubert Goerss, Wheatfield. Services will be conducted at 1:30 pm Wednesday at the Hanp Funeral Home by Rev. Luther Knauff of St Martin's Church. Burial will be in White Chapel Memorial Park.

    NORTH TONAWANDA, April 24 - Mrs. Mary C. Wrege. 68, died yesterday at her home, 225 Ward road. Born in Germany, she came to America when a young woman and had resided in this locality since. She is survived by three sons, Herman and William, Jr., of North Tonawanda, and Walter, of Dunkirk; three daughters, Mrs. Hubert Holland, of Niagara. Ealls, Mrs, Otto Zimmerman, of North Tonawanda, and Mrs. George Sattelberg, of the Town of Wheatfield; 20 grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, a sister, Mrs. Herman Wrege, of Ransomville, and a brother, August Piepenhagen, of Wilson. Funeral services will 'be held Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the residence and at 2:30 from the St. Mark's Evangelical Lutheran church In Washington street. The Rev. Paul Fretthold will conduct the rites. Burial will be in St. Mark's cemetery.

    NORTH TONAWANDA, Dec. 26 - Mrs. Caroline C. Milliman, nee Donner, 59 years old, died yesterday at her home, 137 Linwood avenue, following a stroke suffered three weeks ago. She was born in Wheatfield and had resided in this vicinity all her life.
    She is survived by her husband Frank' eght daughters, Helen, Loretta and Dorothy, Mrs. Elma Brodfuehrer, Mrs. Edward Bishop, Mrs. William Thelan and Mrs. Ray Benz, all of this city, and Mrs. Charles Heinmiller, of Kenmore; four sons Frank, Jr., Jacob, George and William, all of tis city; 24 grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Martin Liddel, of Burt, and Mrs. Hannah Hoffman, of Lockport; three brothers, Lawrence Donner, of Wheatfield, Jacob Donner, of this city, and Joseph Donner, of Lockpprt. The funeral will be Friday at 8:30 a.m. at the house and at 9 from Ascension church. Interment will be in Mt. Olivet cemetery.
