    The total of 1956 deaths in

    Niagara County outside the city
    due to traffic accidents today stood
    at five as the result of two fatalities
    in separate accidents within the last
    24 hours.
    Killed yesterday were:
    Walter P. Baer, 8, son of Mr.
    and Mrs. Louis W. Baer, Baer Rd.,
    Sanborn.
    Mrs. August Tryloff, 79. of
    Riddle Rd., Town of Royalton.
    The Baer boy was killed instantly

    in Lockport road, Town of
    Wheatfield, while riding his bicycle
    near his,,home-
    Sheriffs' deputies
    said the
    driver of the car
    which struck the
    lad was George
    Aukward, 34. of
    149 80th St.,
    this city. Aukward
    was not
    held.
    Mrs. Tryloff
    was fatally injured
    in a collision
    in Akron
    road near Bunker Hill road, Town
    of Lockport. FoUr other persons,
    including Mrs. Tryloff's daughter,
    were injured in the crash.
    Car Skids 200 Feet
    Sheriff's d e p u t i e s Rudolph
    Zichm. Charles Sanford and William
    Munch, who investigated the
    Baer boy's death, said Aukward
    told them he was driving east in
    Lockport road when he saw two
    boon bikes in front of him.
    According to the driver, one of
    the boys suddenly veered in front
    of his vehicle. The deputies' report
    said the car skidded 200 feet before
    it came to a stop.
    The boy's father hailed a passing
    motorist and rushe3 his son to
    Niagara Falls Memorial Hospital
    but the lad was dead on arrival.
    Death was caused by internal injuries.
    The other bicyclist, Patrick
    Gates. 6, of Lockport Rd., was not
    injured.
    Rites Thursday
    Walter was a second grade student
    at Wheatfield No. I annex
    of Starpoint Central School. Besides
    his. parents he is survived by
    A brother. Richard Baer: grandparents.
    Mrs. Walter G. Baer.
    Shawnee, and Mr. And Mrs. Philip
    Wcinheimcr. North Tonawanda,
    and an aunt.
    Funeral services will be held at
    2 p.m. Thursday at the Pike Fu-
    neral Home, Sanborn, with the
    Rev. Richard Sova officiating.
    Burial will be in Memorial Park
    Cemetery.

    NORTH TONAWANDA - On Wed-
    nesday evening Miss Lois Wein-
    heimer of Falconer street, North
    Tonawanda, entertained 30 guests
    in honor of her sister, Miss Olive
    Weinheimer whose marriage to Mr.
    Louis Baer of Sanborn, will take
    place Saturday, October 26, at 4
    o'clocl at Friedens Evangelical
    church, North Tonawanda.
    Cootie was played, with prizes
    awarded to the winners and a
    guest prize for the bride-elect
    Luncheon was served from small
    tables, with tiny umbrellas as fav-
    ors. The house was decorated with
    umbrellas and garden flowers.
    Another partv in Miss Weinheim-
    e r a honor was a variety shower giv-
    er by Miss Norma Baer, of San-
    born, who entertained 25 guests at
    her home recently. The early part
    of the evening was spent in making
    a bride'.s book, which was presented
    to the guest of honor
    Games followed, with prizes awarded
    to the winners and a guest prize
    to Miss Weineimer.
    Luncheon was served from two
    long tables. The bride's table had
    as a centerpiece a wedding cake
    adorned with a miniature bride and
    groom. The house was attractively
    decorated for the occasion. Miss
    Weinheimer was the recipient of
    many beautiful gifts.

    Evangelical church, of North Tonawanda,
    N. Y., was the scene of a
    simple but pretty wedding cere-
    mony

    on Saturday afternoon, October
    26, when Miss Olive Weinheimer,
    daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Philip
    Weinheimer of Falconer street,
    North Tonawanda, became the bride
    of Mr. Louis Beer, son of Mr. and
    Mrs Walter O. Baer, of Sanborn,
    N. Y.
    The Rev. Theodore Mayer, pastor
    of the church, offlolated. Awaiting
    the arrival of the bridal party and
    during the ceremony, Miss Laura
    Neuman rendered several beautiful
    and appropriate organ selections,
    with two solos, "At Dawning" and
    "Because,'' sung by Mr. Herman
    Wittkowskl, Jr.
    The bride, entering the church
    on the arm of her father, was very
    attractive in a gown of white marquisette
    over white satin. Her fingertip
    length veil fell from a tiara
    set with crystal sequins and seed
    pearls. She carried a shower bouquet
    Of white chrysanthemums and pom
    poms.
    Miss Lois Weinheimer. sister of
    the bride, as maid-of-honor, wore a
    gown of pink marquisette with silver
    trimming and silver slippers.
    She carried a bouquet of white
    mums and pink pom poms set in
    pink tulle and tied with silver ribbon.
    Miss Norma Baer. sister of the
    groom, as bridesmaid, wore a gown
    of yellow marquisette with gold
    trimming and gold slippers. She
    carried a bouquet of bronse and
    yellow pom poms set in yellow tulle
    and tied with gold ribbon. Each
    wore a floral headdress to match
    her bouquet.
    Mr. Harrle Miller, of Sanbom.
    cousin of the groom, was best man
    and Mr. Karl Zuch was groomsman.
    The ushers were Mr. Donald Mserten.
    cousin or both bride and groom;
    and Mr. Randall Miller, cousin of
    the groom.
    Mrs. Weinheimer, mother of the
    bride, was smartly dressed In a

    gown of teal blue crepe with a corsage
    of red chrysanthemums. Mrs.
    Baer. mother of the groom, wore a
    gown of nutria brown. Her corsage
    was of tiny bronze pom poms and
    roses.
    After the ceremony, dinner was
    served at the Geltz tea room for
    the members of the bridal party
    and the immediate families. The 16
    guests were seated at one long
    table, centered with a four-tier
    wedding cake and having tall white
    tapers and small vases of autumn
    flowers on either side. A reception
    for relatives and friends was held in
    the evening at the home of the
    bride.

    Mr. and Mrs Baer left for a trip
    through the New England states.
    The bride's traveling costume was
    of soldier blue with Burgundy ac-
    cessorles. They are at home at San-
    born.
    Prenuptlal parlies in honor of the
    bride were a variety shower by Miss
    Norma Baer, a variety shower by
    Miss Lois Weinheimer, a linen
    shower by Mrs. 0. F. Froncsak and
    an aluminum shower by Mrs, Harold
    Loso.

    HENRY MILLER
    Henry Miller, 89, Shawnee road, town of Wheatfield, died last evening. Born in Germany, he had resided in the town the past 70 years. For 50 years he served the St. Paul's Evangelical and Reformed church at Shawnee as secretary and treasurer. Surviving are two sons, George of Beach Ridge and William of North Tonawanda; four daughters, Mrs. Magdelena Flach of Shawnee, Mrs. Henry Weinheimer of Beach Ridge, Mrs. George Maerten of the town of Wheatfield and Mrs. Philip Weinheimer of North Tonawanda; 29 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at 3 from the residence of his daughter, Mrs. Maerten, Shawnee road, and at 3:30 from the St. Paul's church. The Rev. Theodore Mayer will officiate. Burial will be in Wheatfield cemetery.

    Mrs. Maria Miller Dies at Her Home
    NORTH TONAWANDA, Aug. 25 - Maria Miller, wife of Henry Miller of the Shawnee road, died at her home Tuesday morning after a few weeks' illness, aged 71 years. She is survived by her husband, three sons, William, John and George of Shawnee, four daughters, Mrs. Adam Flack, Mrs. Henry Weinheimer, Mrs. George Maerten of Shawnee, Mrs. Philip Weinheimer of North Tonawanda; four brothers, George and William Ensminger od Shawnee, Christian Ensminger of Flint, Mich and John Ensminger of Kansas City, Mo.; one sister, Mrs. Samuel Jones of Buffalo. Funeral services will be conducted from the late residence Friday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock, Standard time, and from the Shawnee church at 2 o'clock. Interment will be in Shawnee cemetery.
