Altrogge, 71, of Clarence Center,
assessor for the .township for the
last eight, years, died yesterday
afternoon in his automobile of a
heart attack. He had been under
a doctor's care for eight months.
Born in the Town of Clarence,
June 17, 1882, Mr. Altrogge was
the son of Henry and Minnie Altrogge.
He was.a farmer, a director of
the Amherst-Clarence' Fire Insurance
Co., the Swarmsville Vol-
unteer Fire Dept., and the Evangelic
Lutheran Church. He was
an Odd Fellow,
Surviving are his wife, the former
Anna Haak, and one daughter,
Mrs. Archie Hagelberger, of Gettsville.
