    Notes:

    BUFFALO — Adolph S. Glemb, 90 years old, formerly of Niagara Falls, died November 26, 2010 at Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital. He was born on May 29, 1920 in Niagara Falls, the son of the late Andrew and Mary (Zasucha) Glemb.

    Mr. Glemb served with the United States Army Air Corps from September 5, 1942 until his honorable discharge on December 8, 1945. He was awarded the American Service Medal, the Asiatic-Pacific Service Medal, the World War II Victory Medal and the Good Conduct Medal. Mr. Glemb worked as a machine operator at Prestolite for 41 years and retired in 1980. He was a dedicated employee at Niagara Falls State Park for over 75 years starting at the age of 13 in Louis’ Snack Bar, and later working in the Cave of the Winds Gift Shop. Mr. Glemb was a member of the former St. Stanislaus Kostka Church and their choir, and was a faithful volunteer at their annual Polka fest. He was a former member of the American Legion Portage Post #1465 and the Echo Singing Society.

    Mr. Glemb is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Mary (Kolodziej) Glemb; his children, Patricia (Edward) Stefik of Youngstown and John (Dolores) Glemb of Lockport; grandchildren, Edward (Julie) Stefik, Amanda (John) Barry and J.C. Glemb and his great-grandchildren, Brianna and Emily Stefik, and Caroline and Ryan Barry. He is also survived by his brother, Marcel Glemb of Niagara Falls and was predeceased by his brother, Alfred Glemb and sisters, Loretta Bielec and Henrietta Kopczynski. Mr. Glemb is survived by several nieces and nephews.

    Friends may call on Sunday from 2 until 6 PM at the LABUDA FUNERAL HOME, INC., 356 Portage Road, where funeral services will be held on Monday at 8:45 AM, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:00 AM at Divine Mercy Parish, corner of Niagara and 24th Streets, with Rev. Jacek P. Mazur officiating. Burial with Military Honors will be in Holy Trinity Cemetery.

    Mary A. (Kolodziej) Glemb, 98 years old, passed away on September 9, 2020 at Elderwood at Lockport.  She was born in Niagara Falls, NY on May 19, 1922, the daughter of the late Joseph and Julia (Mamon) Kolodziej.​Mary attended local schools and worked at the Niagara Fancy Bakery and Ziolek's Bakery for many years.  She then spent 36 years working for Delaware North at the Cave of the Winds Gift Shop on Goat Island.  Mary was a member of Divine Mercy Parish (formerly St. Stanislaus Kostka Church), was a member of their choir and was a volunteer every year at their "Polka Fest".  She was also a member of the Echo Singing Society.  Mary was predeceased by her husband, Adolph S. Glemb who passed away on November 26, 2010.​Mary is survived by her children, Patricia (Ed) Stefik and John (Dolores) Glemb; grandchildren, Edward (Julie) Stefik, Amanda (John) Stefik Barry and J.C. Glemb (Alyssa Strassel) and great-grandchildren, Brianna, Emily and Kaitlyn Stefik and Caroline and Ryan Barry.​Family and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday September 19, 2020 at 12:00 noon at Divine Mercy Parish, corner of Niagara and 24th Streets with Rev. Jacek P. Mazur officiating.  Interment in Holy Trinity Cemetery. ​
