    WILLIAMSVILLE — Adeline M. (nee Brooks) Heppner, of Park Creek, Williamsville, passed away November 16, 2010. Born on November 28, 1909, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Mae Agnes (Perry) Brooks.

    She attended North Tonawanda High School and graduated in 1929. She married Glenwood Heppner in 1930, who predeceased her in 1968.

    Mrs. Heppner was a member of St. John United Christian Church, Amherst St., Buffalo. She worked many years at the Statler Hotel and Saturn Club of Buffalo as a dietitian, until she retired.

    She was predeceased by two brothers, Howard and Harry Brooks; and a sister, Irene (late James) Black.

    She is survived by a sister, June (late William) Pardue; a brother, Richard (Barbara) Brooks, both of Florida; two sons, Gene R. of Louisiana and Nelson Heppner; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

    Interment will be at Elmlawn Cemetery. If desired, contributions may be made to Erie County Hospice.

    Henry Brooks, 82, of Fort
    Meyers. Fla., a retired superintendent
    of the Tonawanda
    Iron plant, died unexpectedly
    yesterday morning (April 27,
    1970) at Fort Meyers.
    Mr. Brooks, formerly of
    Division Street, North Tonawanda,
    left the city about 15 years
    ago when he retired.
    Survivors include his wife,
    the former Irene Sattery of
    Fort Meyers; a sister, Mrs.
    Frank Reich of Buffalo; three
    daughters, Mrs. Adeline Heppner
    of Buffalo and Mrs. James
    Black and Mrs. William Pardue,
    both of North Tonawanda;
    three sons, Richard Brooks and
    Howard Brooks, both of Utica,
    N.Y., and Dr. Harry Brooks,
    a North Tonawanda dentist,
    and several grandchildren and
    great-grandchildren.
    Funeral services will be conducted
    tomorrow in Fort Meyers.
