    MISS MARGARET MARY NOWAK, daughter
    of Henry Nowak, 61 A St., and the late
    Mrs. Nowak, and John Francis Urban, son of
    Mr. and Mrs. John R. Urban, Oneida Street,
    Lewiston, were united in marriage Saturday
    (Aug.. 17, 1963) at St. Stanislaus Kostka
    Church. Rev. Stanley Novak performed the
    ceremony.
    The bride was given in marriage by her
    father. She wore a gown of. Alencon lace
    and nylon with a chapel train. Her veil was
    caught by a crystal and pearl croWn. She
    carried roses and shasta daisies.
    THE ATTENDANTS were in orchid. They
    were Miss Elaine Disparti, maid of honor;
    Mrs. Myron Pucak, Miss Pamela Nowak, Miss
    Barbara Sadler and Miss Lynnette Fisher,
    bridesmaids; Miss Sherry Clowser, j u n i or
    bridesmaid, and Miss Debbie Clowser and
    Miss Jody Roy, flower girls.
    Tom Nethery, Philadelphia, Pa., was best
    man. Henry Nowak, Steve Nowak, Richard
    Urban and Don Yesukaitus, Philadelphia, Pa.,
    were ushers. Ray Clowser and James Oliver
    were ringbearers.

    THE RECEPTION was held at the Moose-
    Lodge.
    The couple will honeymoon at Cape Cod,
    Mass., and tour New England before residing
    at 780 Onandoga St., Lewiston.

    Mrs. Mary Nowak, 46, of 61 A
    street, mother of Radarman Martin
    Joseph Nowak, U. S. Navy, who was
    killed early in the Korean war on
    the aircraft carrier, Pledge, died suddenly
    late yesterday at Mt. St. Mary's
    hospital.
    Requiem High Mass for Mrs.
    Nowak will be celebrated at 9 a.m.
    on Wednesday at Our Lady of the
    Rosary church after 8:30 a.m. services
    at the Zajac Funeral home.
    Mrs. Nowak was born at Bituman,
    Pa., and moved here during her infancy.
    She attended Sugar Street
    school and Our Lady of Rosary
    parochial school.
    Mrs. Nowak was the mother of 12
    other children, Two of her-sons,
    Stanley Nowak, AK2, Lakehurst, N.
    J., and Philip Nowak, AOAN, San
    Francisco, Calif., are serving in the
    United States Navy.
    Abo surviving are her husband,
    Henry Nowak; six other sons, Henry,
    Thomas, Andrew, Stephen, Leonard
    and Francis Nowak, all pf this city;
    four daughters, the Misses Helen,
    Pauline and Margaret Nowak and
    Mrs. Mary Jane Roy, all of this
    city;, her mother, Mrs. Mary Monko,
    this city; six sisters, Mrs. Margaret
    Polewicz, Mrs. Josephine Guzdek,
    Mrs. Sophie Beczkowski, Mrs. Helen
    Schram and Mrs. Susan Kapelka,
    all of this city, and Mrs. Anna
    Tomaka, Lackawanna; two brothers,
    Michael and John Monko, this city;
    one grandchild and 19 nieces and
    nephews.
    Burial will be in Gat of Heaven
    cemetery.

    Funeral services will be held Saturday,
    for Mrs. Mary Monko, 3012
    Monroe Ave., who died last night
    in Mt. St. Mary's Hospital after a
    long illness.
    A native of Czechoslovakia, she
    was a resident of this city for 42
    years and was the widow of Martin
    Monko.
    Mrs. Monko was a member of
    the Ladies Sodality and Society,
    St. Mary's Greek Catholic Church;
    the Polish Roman Catholic Union
    and St. Hedwig's Society. During
    World War II, she was employed at
    International Graphite and Electrode
    Co. for about 2-1/2 years.
    She is survived by'six daughters,
    Mrs. Sophie Beczkowski, Mrs.
    Helen Schram, Mrs. Margaret Polewicz,
    Mrs. Susan Kapelka and Mrs.
    Josephine Guzdek. all of this city,
    and Mrs. Anna Tomaka, Lackawanna.
    Two sons. John and Michael
    Monko; a brother, Andrew Prokop,
    Beaverdale, Pa.; 32 grandchildren
    and 19 great-grandchildren also survive.
    The services will be held at the
    Zajac Funeral Home at 9:30 a.m.
    Saturday and at St. Mary's Greek
    Catholic Church at 10 a.m. Interment
