    in a while pure silk organza and Chantilly Lace
    gown with a chapel train'. A band of matching
    lace and organza held her bouffant French silk.

    Miss Nancy I. Ensminger was her cousin's
    junior bridesmaid, and flower girls were Miss
    Nancy E. Ensminger, the bride's cousin, and Miss
    Karen Tasner. the bridegroom's cousin. They
    were attired similarly to the bridesmaids.

    GERALD PROEFROCK was best man. and
    ushers were Gerald Ensminger, the bride's
    brother, Wayne Herman and Richard Lemke.
    Junior usher was the bride's nephew, Keith
    Ensminger.
    For an evening reception at the 3-F Club,
    the bride's mother chose a pink silk organza
    over taffeta dress, and the bridegroom's mother
    wore an aqua silk organza and lace dress.
    The newlyweds left for a honeymoon in
    Canada, after which they will reside at 2527
    Niagara Falls Blvd.

    Notes:

    Roy E. Ensminger Sr., 83, of Sunnydale Drive, Town of Niagara, died Thursday, June 18, 1992 in Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center after a lengthy illness. A native of Wheatfield, he was born August 14, 1908, to William and Anna (Berg) Ensminger. He a factory employment manager at the Columbus McKinnon Co. in Tonawanda for 10 years in the late 1930's and early 40's. Ensminger owned and operated R. E. Ensminger Groceries in Sanborn from 1946-1960. He was later employed as a salesman for Beecher Brothers in Sanborn, retiring in 1971. A charter member of the Sanborn Lions Club, and past noble grand of the Forest Lodge Odd Fellows, he was also president of the Church Council of the Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church of North Tonawanda. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Irene (Scharlau) Ensminger of Niagara Falls; a son, Roy E. Ensminger Jr. of Pompano Beach, FL; a daughter; Sherry Werth of Sanborn; seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. He was the father of the late Barbara Lois Kesterson and brother of the late Willis Ensminger, Frank Ensminger and Grace Ensminger. The Rev. E. Werner Weinrich conducted services Sunday with burial in the Wheatfield Cemetery. Arrangements were made by the Rhoney Funeral, Home, Hoover Rd. Sanborn. Memorials may be made to the Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church North Tonawanda.

    Irene H. Ensminger, 84, of Sunnyside Drive, formerly of Sanborn, died Tuesday (Nov. 10, 1992) in Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center after a brief illness. She was born in North Tonawanda on Nov. 7, 1908, the daughter of William and Bertha (Geist) Scharlau. She had resided in North Tonawanda before moving to Sanborn in 1946. She moved to Niagara Falls in 1982. Mrs. Ensminger and her husband, the late Roy E. Ensminger Sr., operated R. E. Ensminger Groceries in Sanborn from 1946 to 1960. Mr. Ensminger died in June 1992. She was past "noble grand" of the Sanborn Rebecca Lodge and was a member of Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church. Mrs. Ensminger is survived by a son, Roy E. Ensminger Jr. of Pompano Beach, Fla.; a daughter, Sherry Werth of Sanborn; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late Barbara Kesterson and sister of the late William Scharlau and Martha Webber. Visitation will be from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the Rhoney Funeral Home, 5893 Hoover Road, Sanborn, where the Rev. E. Werner Weinrich will conduct services at 11 a.m. Saturday. Burial will be in the Wheatfield Cemetery, Town of Wheatfield. Memorial contributions may be made to the Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church, North Tonawanda.

    was a member of the North Ton-
    awanda Labor and Aid associa-
    tion.
    Born in Germany, he had re-
    sided here the last 47 years. He
    leaves a son, William C, Jr.; two
    daughters, Mrs. Ensminger and
    Mrs. Frank Weber, Niagara Falls;
    eight grandchildren, four great
    grandchildren; a brother, Charles,
    Barker, and two sisters, Mrs,
    Anna Coats, Barker, and Mrs.
    Bertha Martbi, Niagara Falls.
    Rites will be held Wednesday af-
    ternoon at 2 o'clock from the Ens-
    minger home. The Rev. John A.
    Sprock will officiate. Burial will
    be In Elmlawn.
