Harry Westgate. Sr, 58, of 505
Twenty-fourth street, died yesterday
at Memorial hospital after being
in poor health for the last three
years.
Born at Fleetville. Pa.. Mr. Westgate
came to this city six years ago
from Blakely, Pa. Until he retired
2-1/2 years ago, he was a guard at
the Chisholm-Rider Company, Inc.
Mr. Westgate Is survived by his
wife, Ruth; two sons, Harry and
Chester; a daughter, Mrs. Vera
Chambers, all of this city; his
mother, Mrs. Helen Westgate, Peckvllle.
Pa.; two sisters, Mrs. Clara
McGuire, Scranton. Pa, and Mrs.
Esther La Barr, Peckvllle; four
brothers, James, Carbondale. Pa,
Robert. Baltimore, Md, Morgan,
Blakely. and Roger. Peckville, and
one grandchild.
The Rev. Charles R. Osbom,
D. D, will conduct funeral services
at the Bell Funeral chapel Thursday
at 1:30 p. m. Interment will be
in Rtverdale cemetery

The marriage of Miss Mary Jane
Wegener, daughter of Mr. and Mrs.
Chester Wegener, Grove avenue, to
Mr. Harry Westgate, Jr., son of
Mrs. Ruth Westgate, Twenty-ninth
street, and the late Mr. Harry Westgate,
Sr., was solemnized In the
parsonage of the Zion Evangelical
Lutheran church. Saturday. The
Rev. Arthur H. Schmoyer, DD. officiated.
The bride wore a forest green
gabardine suit with gray accessories
and corsage of yellow roses and
baby mums.
Mrs. Rasch Kilian and Mr. Chester
Westgate attended the couple.
A dinner was held at Luigi's restaurant
for the. immediate families
and was followed by a reception at
the home of the bride's parents.
After a trip to New York City,
Mr. and Mrs. Westgate will be at
home at 6.18 Twenty-ninth street.
