    Miss Dorothy Widmer whose
    marriage to Mr. Harold J. Miller
    will take place May 24 at the Niagara
    United Presbyterian church,
    Town of Niagara, was honored at a
    variety shower by Mrs. Wallace
    Schultz and Mis. Frank Zahno, at
    the latter's home in Ransomvillc.
    In addition to many gifts, the
    bride-elect was presented with a corsage
    of yellow carnations, carrying
    out the yellow and white -color
    scheme of the luncheon table.
    Miss Widmer is the daughter of
    Mr. and Mrs. Frederick Widmer,
    Model City, while the bridegroomelect
    is the son of Mr. and Mrs.
    Richard C. Miller, Creekside parkway.

    at the ceremony on Saturday
    uniting in marriage Miss Dorothy
    Lillian Widmer, daughter of Mr. and
    Mrs. Frederick L Widmer, model
    City, and Mr. Harold James Miller,
    son of Mr. and Mrs. Richard C.
    Miller, Creekside parkway.
    The marriage .iodic place at the
    Niagara United Presbyterian church,
    which was decorated with baskets of
    white spring flowers. ~
    Given in marriage by her father,
    the bride carried a white Bible topped
    with a white orchid with lily-ofthe-
    valley streamers, with her ballerina
    length gown of nylon net and
    Venice lace. The shirred bodice of
    the gown rose from a fully gathered
    skirt. The jacket and skirt were
    trimmed with Venice lace 'and her
    headpiece of tulle with satin flowers
    held a shoulder length veil.
    Mrs. Donald Pollow was her cousin's'matron
    of honor.- .She was attired
    in a gown of Nile green net
    with a fitted bodice and gathered
    skirt. She wore a bolero- of net
    and taffeta, a net helmet and carried
    a colonial bouquet.
    Mr. Leonard F. Widmer, brother
    of the bride, was best man. The
    ushers were Mr. Robert Nuzum and
    Mr. William Davis.
    Dinner was served to 60 guests
    at the Buena Vista. Lewiston.
    Mrs. Widmer chose for her daughter's
    wedding a navy blue crepe dress
    with matching accessories. The
    bridegroom's mother favored a navy
    bide print frock and matching accessories.
    Mr. and Mrs. Miller will travel
    to the New England states for their
    wedding trip. For traveling the
    bride chose a blue suit with navy
    blue nad pink accessories.
