    LOCKPORT — Mildred M. Voelker passed away Wednesday, December 29, 2010 at the Odd Fellow and Rebekah Health Care Facility. Mrs. Voelker was born in the town of Royalton on November 16, 1915 daughter of the late Herman J. and Marie (Rhodes) Reabold.

    She was a homemaker who enjoyed her family, gardening, cooking and banking. She was a member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church, Middleport, NY. She and her husband, Alvin G. Voelker, Sr., were married July 24, 1935 and he predeceased her in 1990. She was also predeceased by her siblings, Frank Reabold, Walter Reabold, Carl Reabold and Florence Kenyon.

    She is survived by her son, Alvin G. "Skip" (Diann) Voelker, Jr. of Lockport; four grandchildren, Sharon Voelker of Lockport, Tina (Terry) Benedict of Tonawanda, James (Sonya) Voelker of Gasport and Teresa (Curt) Maslowski of Lockport; also surviving are four great-grandchildren, Corey Voelker, Kirrin Voelker, Kelsey Voelker and Bradley Voelker; and one great-great-granddaughter, Katara Voelker; also surviving are several nieces and nephews.

    Friends may call Sunday from 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM at the Bates, Wallace & Heath Funeral Home, 38 State St., Middleport and Monday from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Holy Cross Lutheran Church, Middleport, where funeral services will follow at 11:00 AM with the Rev. David Triplett officiating. Burial will be in Royalton Mt. Ridge Cemetery. Memorials to Holy Cross Lutheran Church would be appreciated by the Voelker family.

    Funeral Services for George Voelker to Be Held Sunday. MIDDLEPORT, Dec. I5—George F. Voelker, 68. died yesterday at his home on the Bartell road, Town of Royalton. He leaves his wife, Adeline Wittkopp Voelker, five sons and three daughters, Lewis, Alvin, George, Jr., Frederick and William and Mrs. Francis Hellert, Mrs. Norman Gillmeister and Miss Minnie Voelker; two brothers and four sisters. William and Frederick Voelker, Mrs. William Schweitzer, Mrs. Georgiana Sattelberg, Mrs. William Gindner and Miss Emma Voelker, and six grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock at the home with burial in Riverdale cemetery, Niagara Falls. The Rev. Frederick Schleef will officiate.

    George married WITTKOPP, Adeline Bertha about 1912.     died today (May 2, .1960) at the
    home of her daughters, Mrs.
    Frances' Hellert, 908 Orient
    St., Medina, after a lingering
    illness;
    Born Oct; 9, 1885, in the
    Town of. Lockport, she was
    a daughter of August and
    Augusta Wagner Wittcopp.
    Her husband died in 1939.
    They had resided in Barto
    Rd., Town of Royalton, She
    lived with her daughter for
    the last nine years.
    In addition to Mrs. Hellert
    s u r v i v i n g are two other
    daughters,. Mrs. Norman Gillmeister,
    this village, and Mrs.
    Franklin Sahm, Newfane; four
    sons, Louis Voelker; Niagara
    Falls, Alvin, Frederick and
    William Voelker, all of this
    village; 20 grandchildren; 5
    great-grandchildren; a sister,
    Mrs. Anna Hasley; and a
    brother, Theodore Whittcopp,
    both of G a s p o r t. Several
    nieces and nephews also survive.
    A son, George Voelker,
    died in Ridgewood in 1951.

    and 7-9 p.m. at the Wallace
    & Heath Funeral Home, 38
    State St., where funeralserv-
    Ices will be conducted at 1:30
    Wednesday by the Rev. Otto
    J. Strothmann of Holy Cross
    Lutheran Church. Burial will
    be in Riverdale Cemetery,
    Lewiston. Donations to Holy
    Cross Church are acceptable
    as memorial tributes, the family
    said.

    Mrs. Reabold Dies 3 Days After Sister
    MIDDLEPORT - Mrs. Mary Reabold, 61, wife of Herman Reabold of Freeman Avenue, died Tuesday at the Medina Memorial Hospital, three days after the death of her sister, Mrs. Louis Smith of Alabama Center. Besides her husband, she leaves three sons: Frank, Carl and Walter Reabold; two daughters. Mrs. Laverne Kenyon and Mrs. Alvin Voelker; a sister, Mrs. John Butz; and three brothers, Charles, William and John Rhodes. Rites will be held Friday at 1:30 at the home and at 2:30 at St. Michael's Lutheran Church, Wolcottsville, the Rev. Fred Schleef officiating. Burial will be in Royalton Mountain Ridge Cemetery.
