    RANSOMVTLLB, April 10.—A very
    pretty Spring wedding was solemn-
    ized Saturday afternoon, March 27
    at 3:30 o'clock at the Dickersonville
    M. E. parsonage when Laura M. Wiapert,
    daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John
    Wlepert, became the' bride of Paul
    H. Helmlck, also of RansomvUle. The
    Rev. J. T. Raugh performed the
    ceremony in the presence of the immediate
    families. The couple were
    attended by Mr. and Mrs. Howard
    Bedlent, of Buffalo.
    The bride wore a gown of cream
    rose lace over taffeta with hat and
    sandals of the same shade. Her
    shoulder corsage was of pink roses
    and sweet peas.
    The matron of honor chose a powder-
    blue dress with gray accessories.
    Her shoulder corsage was of a
    deeper shade of pink roses and sweet
    peas than that worn by the bride.
    The brlde'a mother wore a thistle
    colored point dress and her shoulder
    corsage was of yellow roses and sweet
    peas.
    Immediately following the cere-
    mony, a reception was held at the
    Samovar at Niagara Falls where cov-
    ers were laid for 24 guests at a T-
    shaped table. The table was prettily
    decorated with a beautiful white
    wedding cake and pink snap-dragons.
    After the reception, Mr. and Mrs.
    Helmick left on a motor trip to Wash-
    ington, D. C., and Virginia, the bride
    wearing navy blue with gray acces-
    sories.
    The bride presented the matron of
    honor with a lovely compact and the
    groom's gift to the best man was an
    initialed buckle and belt.
    Pre-nuptial events included a var-
    iety shower by Mrs. Welland Shooles
    a variety shower by Mrs. William Mc
    Gakey, a variety shower by Mrs.
    Howard Bedient, and a variety show-
    er by the girls of the proof room
    of the american Sales Book com-
    pany.

    RANSOMVILLE - Funeral
    services will be held at 2:30
    p.m. Tuesday at Hardison
    Funeral Home, Lake Street,
    for John A. Wiepert, 80, of
    1752 Ridge Road, Lewiston.
    Mr. Wiepert, a native of
    the Town of Porter, died Sat-
    urday (May 36, 1962) at Ran-
    somville General Hospital. He
    retired 10 years ago after 48
    years of fruit and grain farm-
    ing at the Town of Lewiston
    address.
    He is survived by his wi-
    dow, Clara M. Wiepert; a
    daughter, Mrs. Paul Helmich,
    Dickersonville; two sisters,
    Mrs. Emma Krohn and Mrs.
    Minnie Simmons, both of
    Town of Cambria; and two
    grandchildren.
    The family will be present
    from 2 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9
    p.m. at the funeral home.
    Rev. Orrin T. Carroll, pastor
    of the Dickersonville Meth-
    odist Church, will officiate
    at services. Burial will be in
    Lewiston Cemetery.

    SANBORN, Jan. 20.-Fred Wlepert,
    88 years old, died at the home of his
    daughter, Mrs. Louis Simmons, on the
    South Ridge road. Town of Cambria,
    this morning. He is survived by two
    sons, John Wlepert, also of the South
    R'dge road, and Charles Wiepert, of
    Ransomville; three daughters, Mrs.
    Simmons and Mrs. William Krohn
    and Mrs. Ernest Krohn, both of Ransomvllle,
    and one brother, Charles
    Wiepert, in Germany. Nineteen grand-
    children and 19 great-grandchildren
    also survive. He was the husband of
    the late Wilhelmina Wiepert.
    Sixty-six years ago Mr. Wiepert
    came to this country from Germany
    and settled near Ransomville in the
    Town of Porter. Later he moved to
    the Ridge road. Town of Ransomville.
    He had been ill for about a year and
    during that time had lived with his
    daughter. He was a member of St.
    Peter's church, North Ridge road.
    The funeral will be held from the
    home of his daughter at 2 p. m. Saturday,
    with services at St. Peter's church
    at 2:30 p. m., the Rev. C. Oldah officiating.
