    Notes:

    Harold J. Wiepert, age 87 of Ransomville, died Saturday January 17, 2015 in Our Lady of Peace Nursing Care Residence in Lewiston, after a lengthy illness.Harold was born December 24, 1927 in Niagara Falls, NY, the son of the late Louis and Mabel (Hecht) Wiepert, and was a lifelong resident of Ransomville. He graduated from Wilson High School in 1945. He married Ellen (Campbell) Wiepert on September 24, 1949 in St. Peter's Evangelical Lutheran Church at North Ridge. Ellen predeceased him on March 17, 2009.Harold started Wiepert's Service with his brother Gerald. After a short stay he and his brother Carl established Wiepert Brothers Builders. Together they built hundreds of homes and two churches in the Ransomville, Wilson, and Lockport areas. Harold later joined Carpenter's Union Local 280 in Lockport and worked on the Sommerset Power Plant.He was a member of the NRA, the 3 F Sportsman Club in Lewiston (where he shot both pistol archery) and the 7 Clan Archery Club. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. In the 1960's and 1970's he shot Tournament Archery and won several tournaments both local and state wide. He was always involved in something, He enjoyed Photography, breeding Huskies, snowmobiles, camping, boating, motorcycles, gardening, and collecting. When he was in his mid sixties, he built a new house for his wife, figuring it would be his last. He was an avid and highly skilled wood worker and carver and was more than happy to show and teach his talents.Harold was very active in St. Peter's Evangelical Lutheran Church at North Ridge. He sang in the choir, was a Steward, and did maintenance at the church. He seldom missed church and even after becoming disabled, he insisted on walking into church as long as it was possible. Harold will be remembered as being easy going. He enjoyed and loved helping children, teaching the skills he had, listening to their stories and problems, and giving them advice, all of which he did with tremendous patience.He is survived by a special nephew, Gerald Wiepert and his wife, Joyce of Ransomville; two brothers, Carl Wiepert (Nancy) of Lockport and Merton (late Gloria) Wiepert of Ransomville, a brother in law, Franklin (the late Sally) and Marlene Campbell of The Villages, FL; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by four brothers, Louis "Bob" (late Bea and Ruth) Wiepert, Donald Wiepert, Gerald (late Beverly) and Lloyd (late Joyce) Wiepert. Friends may call at HARDISON FUNERAL HOME, 3648 Ransomville Road, Ransomville on Wednesday from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 PM. Funeral Services will be held Thursday, January 22, at 11:00 AM in St. Peter's Evangelical Lutheran Church at North Ridge, 4169 Church Rd. Town of Cambria, with the Rev. Robert Hoffman officiating. Burial will follow in North Ridge Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Ladies Aid Society of St. Peter's Evangelical Lutheran Church at North Ridge.

    Mr. and Mrs.'Earl Campbell. Ran-
    somville, and Mr. Harold John Wie-
    pert, son of Mr. and Mrs. Louis
    Wiepert, also of Ransomville.
    The bride's gown, of eggshell sa-
    tin and chantilly lace, was fashion-
    ed with long pointed sleeves, fitted
    bodice and circular train. she car-
    ried a white Bible, topped with
    an orchid and baby roses tied in
    the streamers.

    The matron of honor. Mrs. William
    Bye. Olcott. wore apple green
    taffeta and carried a colonial bouquet
    of yellow and rust mums.
    The groom was attended by his
    brother, Mr. Lloyd Wiepert.
    A reception for 150 guests was
    held at the home of the brides
    parents In North Lake street. Outof-
    town guests were present from
    New York City. Syracuse, Clyde,
    Waterloo, Geneva, Wright's Corners
    and Olcott.
    For traveling, the bride chose an
    ensemble of navy blue and grey.
    After a motor trip through New
    England the couple will reside in
    North Lake street, Ransomville.

    New Road, a 50-year resident
    of this community, died Sunday
    (July 11, 1965) In the Inter-
    Communlty Hospital, Newfane.
    She had been ill since
    May.
    Mrs. Wiepert was born Sept.
    5, 1899. in Depew, the daughter
    of Mr. and Mrs. John
    Hecht. She was a member of
    St. Peter's Lutheran Church,
    North Ridge.
    She Is survived by her husband,

    Funeral Home here, and
    at J:S0 at St Peter's Lutheran
    Church, North Ridge,
    Rev. Ernest E. Heuer officiating.
    Burial will be In North
    Ridge Cemetery.

    -Funeral services for Charles A.
    Wiepert, 74, who. died at Niagara
    Falls Tuesday, will be held Saturday
    at 2 p.m. from the home of his
    daughter,' Mrs. Franklin Miller.

    at 2:30 o'clock at St. Peter's Lutheran
    church, North Ridge. The

    SANBORN, Jan. 20.-Fred Wlepert,
    88 years old, died at the home of his
    daughter, Mrs. Louis Simmons, on the
    South Ridge road. Town of Cambria,
    this morning. He is survived by two
    sons, John Wlepert, also of the South
    R'dge road, and Charles Wiepert, of
    Ransomville; three daughters, Mrs.
    Simmons and Mrs. William Krohn
    and Mrs. Ernest Krohn, both of Ransomvllle,
    and one brother, Charles
    Wiepert, in Germany. Nineteen grand-
    children and 19 great-grandchildren
    also survive. He was the husband of
    the late Wilhelmina Wiepert.
    Sixty-six years ago Mr. Wiepert
    came to this country from Germany
    and settled near Ransomville in the
    Town of Porter. Later he moved to
    the Ridge road. Town of Ransomville.
    He had been ill for about a year and
    during that time had lived with his
    daughter. He was a member of St.
    Peter's church, North Ridge road.
    The funeral will be held from the
    home of his daughter at 2 p. m. Saturday,
    with services at St. Peter's church
    at 2:30 p. m., the Rev. C. Oldah officiating.
