Jakubec (nee Collins), age 90, passed away Sunday, October 13, 2013, at Niagara Falls Medical Center, following a long illness. Mrs. Jakubec was born August 27, 1923 in the Town of Hartland. Wife of the late John Jakubec, who passed away in 1997; mother of Sharon (Roger) Murphy, North Tonawanda, Bruce (Leslie) Sterling, Forestville, Randy (Ericka) Wienke, Harbor Creek, PA, Roger Wienke, Gresham, OR, and the late Larry Wienke; sister of Howard (late Shirley) Collins, Lockport, Donald Collins, Lockport, and the late LaVerne and the late John Collins; also survived by several step-children, ten grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. NORTH TONAWANDA, Sept. 10 - Albert Wienke, 60, of 36 Fillner Ave., died today (Sept. 10, 1955) at DeGraff Memorial Hospital after a long illness. Born in the Town of Wheatfield, Mr. Wienke lived in this city for 37 years. He was a member of St Martins Lutheran Church. Rescue Hose No. 5 and was employed by the Carborundum company at the Wheatfield plant. he is survived by his wife Helen, a son Leroy, a daughter. Mrs Augustine Cinquino, and seven grandchildren, all of this city; three brothers, Adolph Wienke, Sanborn, and John and Reinhard Wienke, Bergholz, and mrs. Ella Eggert, Gasport. last rites will be held Monday at 2 pm at the Hamp Funeral Home. Interment will be at the White Chapel Memorial Park Cemetery.

illness. Born in Germany, he had

the past 61 years. Mr. Wienke is

of Bergholtz and Albert F., Jr.,

Aged Bergholtz Resident Passes
BERGHOLTZ, April 17,-Mrs. Matilda Wienke, nee Retzlaff, 74 years old, wife of Albert Wienke, died today at her home, in Cayuga road after a brief illness. She was stricken with paralysis Sunday. She was born in Campow (sic), Germany, and had resided in this village for the past 51 years. She was a member of St. James Lutheran church and the Ladies' Aid society.
Besides her husband, she is survived by five daughters, Mrs. Edward Jagow and Mrs. William Eggert, both of Niagara Falls, Mrs. Albert Schmeichel, of North Tonawanda, Mrs. Christ (sic) Haseley, of Sanborn, and Mrs. Gustav Moll, of Bergholtz; five sons, Adolph, of Sanborn, John, Hugo and Reinhard, all of Bergholtz. and Albert, of North Tonawanda; 34 grandchildren; seven great granchildren (sic); two brothers, Fred, of Grand Haven, Mich., and Edward, of Sanborn. The funeral will be Friday at 2 p. m. from the home and at 2:30 from St. James church. The Rev. Otto Bruss will officiate. Interment will be in St. James cemetery.
