Willis F. Latta, 76 years old, formerly
of this city, died yesterday In
Tampa, Florida, after a prolonged Illness.
He Is survived by hta wife.
Mary J. Latta: two sons. Harry of
Tampa and Earl of Wilson, N. Y, two
daughters, Mrs. Lee Wilkinson, of
Tampa and Frances Latta of thia city.
He is alao survived by six brothers
and two sisters. Burial will be ln
Tampa at four o'olock this aftternoon.
Mr. Latta was formerly connected
with the United Statea Customs at
the lower Arch bridge and also Inspector
on the passonger tralns for
some time. He was born In Lewiston,
N. Y., and lived In the vicinity
nearly all his life. Six years ago he
retired from the customs service and
has been living In Florida since that
time. He was very well known ln
thle city and waa held In high esteem
by all his associates.
