Miss Emma Holland, daughter of

Tonawanda, became the bride of Mr
Roy Neubauer, son of Mrs. Mathilda
Neubauer, 421 Eighth street, in a
ceremony performed Thanksgiving
day in St. Mark's Evangelical Luth
eran church, North Tonawanda,
the Rev. Paul Fretthold
Given in mrriage by her father
the bride wore a gown fashioned
with a lace bodice with a square,
neckline, and a full skirt of nylon
marquisette. Her fingertip veil was
trimmed with orange bloLms and,
she carried a colonial bouquet of
white carnations and c h r y s a n t h e
m u m s.
Miss Caroline Holland, sister of
the bride, was the maid of honor
wearing a pink gown, fashioned in
a style similar to that worn by the
bride. She carried a colonial bou-
quet of pink carnations and white
chrysanthemums.
Mr. Richard Neubauer, brother of
the bridegroom, was the best man
and ushers Included Mr. Lawrence
Neubauer, also a brother of the
bridegroom, and Mr. Alfred Schultz.
During the ceremony, organ mu-
sic was provided by Mrs. Wallace
Senechal and Mr. Martin Brauer
sang "The Lord's Prayer" and "The
Twenty-third Psalm."
The bride's mother wore a black
crepe dress trimmed with silver
nailheads and corsage of chrysani
themums. The bridegroom's mother
wore a black crepe dress with a cor-
sage of red roses and chrysanthemums.
The grandmother of the
bridegroom, Mrs. Rosa Fritz, North
Tonawanda, also wore a black crepe
dress and a corsage of chrysanthei
mums.
Following the ceremony, a recep-
tion for 50 guests was held at the
home of the bride. The couple's
wedding trip was a motor tour to
Cleveland, Toledo and Detroit. They
are now residing at 187 Jackson ave-
nue, North Tonawanda

NORTH HARTLAND, March 25
-Ludwig Holland, 72, died at his
home, 187 Jackson avenue, today after
a short illness. He was born in
the Town of Wheatfield but resided
here for the last 50 years.
He is survived by his wife, Agnes
Williams Holland, and was the father
of Miss Caroline Holland, Mrs. Harold
Werth, Mrs. Carl Baker, Mrs.
Alfred Dietrich, Mrs. Roy Neubauer.
He was the brother of Edward
Holland, this city. Herman Holland,
Erie, Pa., and William Holland, Sanborn,
and Mrs. Louise Senechel, Miss
Matilda Holland, Mrs. Ella Vorphal
and Mrs. Agatha Haak. all of the
Tonawandas, and Mrs. Henry Hagen,
Kenmore. Eight grand children also
survive.
Funeral services will be Friday at
2 p.m. in the Fretthold Funeral home
and at 2:30 p.m. St. Mark's Lutheran
church. Burial will be in the church
cemetery.

lengthy illness. Mrs. Holland
was a member of St. Mark's
Lutheran Church and the Women's
Missionary League. Services
were held this morning at
10 30 a.m. from St. Mark's
Lutheran Church, the Rev. Edward
C. Goehner officiated. Interment
in St. Mark's Cemetery.
She was the wife of the late
Ludwig Holland, surviving are

John Williams, 65 years, old a lifelong
resident of the town of Wheatfield,
died yesterday. The funeral
will be held tomorrow afternoon at 2
o'clock from the late residence, Ward
road, and half an hour later from St.
John's church. Rev. Walter Thiemecke
officiating. Burial will be in the
Lutheran cemetary, Niagara Falls
boulevard. Surviving are three daughters,
Mrs. Charles Achterberg, Pickanls
Bridge; Mrs. Louis Holland and Mrs.
