Clarence R. Williams, 91, who lived on Rivershore Drive and worked for Bell Aerosystems, died Saturday (Oct. 18, 1997) in CrestWood Health Care Facility, Wheatfield.
He was born in Sanborn and lived in Niagara Falls for most of his life.
Williams also worked for Acheson Graphite Co. before working 14 years for E.I. du Pont de Nemours & Co. He also worked for 10 years in the City of Niagara Falls parking meter department. He worked at Bell for 15 years before retiring in 1971.
He was a member of St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church and enjoyed golfing.
He was the widower of Lila Sprague Williams. Survivors include two daughters, Joan Rousseau of Bellevue, Neb., and Marcia Reinhold of Pompano Beach, Fla.; a sister, Mildred Schultz; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at 11 A.M. Friday in Lane Funeral Home, 8622 Buffalo Ave. Burial will be in St. Paul's Cemetery.

Co., where he was employed
30 years, Philip A; Williams,
75, of 1631 Weston Ave., died yesterday
(Aug. 25, 1955) at Memorial
Hospital after a lengthy illness.
Born in Sanborn, be came to this
city 48 years ago. He had been
retired for about 10 years. He and
his wife, Mrs. Hedwig Williams,
celebrated their golden wedding an
niversary last May.
He was a member of St. Paul's
Lutheran Church and a charter
member of the brotherhood of that
church.
In addition to his wife, he is
survived by a son and a daughter,
Clarence R. Williams and Mrs. Arthur
T. Schultz, both of this city;
a brother, Ferdinand Williams,
Lockport, and three sisters, Mrs.
plans to arrange within the next John Proefrock, Tonawanda; Mrs.
Helena Lindke, Buffalo, and Mrs.
Rudolph Milleville, this city. Two
grandchildren, Joan and Marcia.
Williams, also survive.
Funeral services will be held Sunday-
at 2:30 p.m. at the Cornell
and Daggett Funeral Chapel and
at 3 p.m. at St. Paul's Church. The
Rev. Evan J. Bartell will officiate.
Burial will be in St. Paul's Cemetery,
Bergholtz.

Phillip married MANTE, Hedwig Emilie Albertine on 11 May 1905 in Town of Wheatfield, Niagara County, NY. Hedwig (daughter of MANTE, Julius Friedrich Wilhelm and MEHLS, Albertine) was born on 27 Aug 1882 in Town of Wheatfield, Niagara County, NY; died in 1968 in Niagara County, NY. TO CELEBRATE GOLDEN WEDDING- Mr. and Mrs. Phillip
Williams, Weston Ave will observe their 50th wedding anniversary
today with a dinner at the Red Coach Inn, and a reception at their
home. Mr. and Mrs. Williams are members of St. Paul's Evangelical
Lutheran Church and have two children and two grandchildren.
Their son is Clarence R. Williams, Rivershone Dr., and their
daughter is Mrs. Arthur Schultz, Weston Ave. Among the guests
this evening will be five members of the original wedding party..
They are Mrs. Fred Lindke, Buffalo; Mrs. Sophia Goerss and Miss
Elizabeth Klemer, both of Martinsville; Theodore Ziemendorf and
Ferdinand B. Williams, Lockport.

Edison Ave., a member and
former officer of several local
women's organizations,
died .at Memorial Hospital
Sunday (Nov. 5, 1962) after a
short illness. She was 78.
Mrs. Platts, a native of
Hamilton. Ont.. lived in Niagara
Falls for the last 35
years.
She was a charter member
of R i v e r side Presbyterian
Church. Her group memberships
included Star of La-
Salle Chapter No. 785. Order
of the Eastern Star; Dorothy
Bell Rebekah Lodge No. 462,
IOOF; past matron of Star of

mothers Club.
