    Funeral services will be held
    Tuesday in Lockport for three
    Niagara County natives who
    died in a fire Saturday at
    Batavia Downs Trailer Park,
    Batavia.
    Harold E. Beakman, 66; his
    wife, May Vera Beakman. 53,
    and her sister, Mrs. Hazel
    Ogden. 58, died when a fire
    destroyed the Beakman's house
    trailer. Mrs. Ogden had been
    visiting her sister.
    The fire is believed to have
    been touched off by a cooking
    stove, although the exact cause
    has not been determined.
    Mr. Beakman, a Lockport
    native was a house trainer for
    the Robert Metcalf Stables in
    Leroy and was a member of
    the American Trotting Horses
    Association. He was the son of
    William Beakman.
    Mr. and Mrs. Beakman are
    survived by two daughters,
    Mrs. Jack (Joyce) Duemmer,
    of Ransomville, and Mrs. Roger
    , (Bonnie) Seeibinder, of Albion;
    a son, Harold J. Beakman of
    Lockport and nine grandchildren.
    Mrs. Beakman, the former
    May V. Coulson, was born in
    Gasport, the daughter o f
    William and Mary Coulson. She
    is also survived by a sister,
    Mrs. Gordon Ramming of Middleport.
    Mr. Beakman is also survived
    by two brothers,. Howard
    Beakman of Lockport and
    William Beakman of Syracuse
    and a sister, Mrs. Leo (Emma)
    DeNau of Lockport.
    Funeral services for Mr. and
    Mrs. Beakman will be held
    Tuesday at. 10:30 a.m. from the
    Gaul Funeral Home with the
    Rev. James Burdick officiating.
    Burial will be in Mountain
    Ridge Cemetery, Gasport".
    Mrs. Ogden, the former Hazel
    B. Coulson, was born in Mid-
    dleport. She was a member of
    the Eagles Club of Lockport.
    She is survived by her
    widower, Earl W. Ogden, of
    Medina; a daughter, Mrs. Mary
    H. Lougherey of Middleport; a
    son, Thomas Murphy, of Mid-
    dleport; a sister. Mrs. Gordon
    Ramming, of Middleport, and
    11 grandchildren.
    Furneral services for Mrs.
    Ogden will be Tuesday after-
    noon at a time to be announced
    at the Gaiil Funeral Home.
    Burial will be In Hartland Cen-
    tral Cemetery.
    Friends may call at the
    funeral home from 2 to 4 and
    7 to 9 p.m. today and Monday.

    Surviving his wife less than a
    month, William P. Beakman, 88,
    farmer, of the Akron Road, Town
    of Lockport, died today at his home.
    Mr. Beakman was born Feb. 6,
    1856, son of John and Mary Beakman,
    in the Town of Amherst, Erie
    County, but had lived on the farm
    where he died since he was 22 years
    old. His wife, Lura Beakman, died
    Jan. 3.
    Surviving are six sons, Walter J„
    Herbert G., Howard M. and Harold
    E. Beakman, Lockport, William L.
    Beakman, Boston Hills, and Burt
    Blanott, of Buffalo; three daughters,
    Mrs. Florence Slsler, Mrs, Burt
    Dawson and Mrs. Leo De Neau,
    Lockport. There are 15 grandchildren.
    Services will be held Sunday at
    2:30 at the Prudden Funeral Home,
    242 Genesee St. The Rev. Herbert L.
    Siegner, pastor of St. Peter's Evangelical
    Church, will officiate. Burial
    will be In S t Peter's Cemetery
