NEWFANE - Lila E.
Wilson of 6282 Hatter Road,
Newfane, died Monday (May
24, 1971) at Inter-Community
Hospital, Newfane, after a
long illness.
She was born Aug. 19, 1910,
in the Town of Lockport, the
daughter of Christian and
Ernestine Winter. She was a
member of the Immanuel
Lutheran Church at Ridgewood.
She was also a member
of the Ladies Aid Society of
that church. She was married
in February of 1937 i n
Lockport to Walter F. Wilson,
who survives her.
She is also survived by a
son, Raymond W, Wilson of
Newfane.
Friends may call from 2
to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the
Rutland and Corwin Funeral
Home, 2670 Main S t .,
Newfane. Services will be
held Thursday, at 2 p.m. from
the Immanuel L u t h e r an
Church at Ridgewood. The
Rev. Victor Hoyer will officiate.
Burial will be in Mount
Ridge Cemetery, Gasport.

Ernestine, wife of Christ. Winter died Tuesday morning, August 10th, at her residence, Slayton Settlement Road. Lockport. She is survived by her husband, one son and two daughters, Walter of Niagara Falls, Mrs. Albert Wittkop, Town of Lockport and Mrs. Walter Wilson of Appleton; two brothers and one sister, August and Henry Winter and Mrs. Frank Fairburn of Wolcottsville; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Funeral will be held Thursday, August 12th at 2 o'clock from the residence and at 3 o'clock at Trinity Lutheran Church, Saxton Street, Lockport. Burial in Royalton Mt. Ride Cemetery, the Rev. Herman Meier, officiating.
