    aged 60, of 22 Carney St., Tona-
    wanda, died suddenly Thursday
    (Jan. 6, 1955) after a heart attack.
    Born inTonawanda, she was a
    lifelong resident of the city and
    was a member of St. Francis
    Church. She is survived by her
    husband, Paul; two daughters,
    Mrs. Lawrence Penzein of Imlay
    City, Mich. and Mrs. Harold Cross
    of Port Colborne, Ont.; two sons,
    Marlin Wankasky of North Tona-
    wanda and Bernard Wankasky of
    Tonawanda; 12 grandchildren, a
    sister, Mrs. Lloyd Brassau of Buf-
    falo and two brothers, Bernard
    Probst of North Tonawanda and
    William Probst of Bay City, Mich.
    Friends may call at the Hamp
    Funeral Home, 36 Adam St., where
    services will be held at 8:30 a.m.
    and at 9 a.m. in St. Francis
    Church, the Rev. Willbur Yeager
    officiating. Burial in Mt. Oliver
    Cemetery.

    Thomas Probst, 72 years old,
    died Monday afternoon at his
    home, 22 Carney street. Born in
    Germany, he had resided in Tona-
    wanda for the past 50 years. He
    is survived by his wife, Olga; two
    sons, William, Bay City, and Ber-
    nard, North Tonawanda, and two
    daughters, Mrs. Paul Wankasky,
    tonawanda, and Mrs. Lloyd Bras-
    saw, Buffalo. The funeral will
    be held tomorrow morning at 8:30
    o'clock and half an hour later
    from the St. Francis church. The
    Very Rev. John A. Weismantel
    will conduct the services and in-
    terment will be at the St. Francis
    cemetery.
