WEST PALM BEACH, FL — Nathan Siemucha, 30, born September 11, 1980, passed away on Sunday, February 27, 2011, after a long, courageous fight with cancer.

Nathan was raised in Pendleton, NY and attended school at Starpoint District Schools. In 1999 he moved to Florida. He was a gifted auto technician who worked for Firestone in West Palm Beach, FL. Nathan was an avid fishermen and outdoors man and was a man who truly believed in eating the fish that he caught.

He is survived by his father, Dennis Siemucha and his step-mother, Carlene Siemucha of Royal Palm Beach, FL; his mother, Darla Siemucha of Lockport, NY; grandmother, Kay Siemucha of Lewiston, NY; grandparents, Joanne Scherrer and Edwin Scherrer of Niagara Falls, NY; sister, Sarah Siemucha of West Palm Beach, FL; brothers, Adam, Seth and Luke Siemucha of Lockport, NY; his sisters, Miriam and Hannah Siemucha of Lockport, NY. He will be truly missed by all his family and friends and we wish him a peaceful eternal rest in heaven.

Dennis E. Siemucha, of Royal Palm Beach, FL, passed away March 24, 2015 at his home. Born in DuBois, Pa., on September 17, 1951, he was the son of Edward and Mary Collins Siemucha. Dennis was a Field Manager for AAA, in the Buffalo office for many years, and later transferred to Florida. He served in the US Navy from 1971 until 1973. Dennis enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family. He is survived by his wife Carlene (nee Ruffertshofer) Siemucha; father of Adam Siemucha, Seth (Angela) Siemucha, Sarah Siemucha, Luke (Molly) Siemucha, Hannah Siemucha, Miriam Siemucha and the late Nathan Siemucha; he is also survived by his eight grandchildren; stepfather of Jackie Kaweck and Brad Kaweck. Friends may call from 2-3 PM on Thursday at St. Paul's United Church of Christ, 3921 Mapleton Rd., North Tonawanda, NY 14120, where a funeral service will be held at 3 PM. Joanne M. Scherrer age 82 of Bergholz, was called to her heavenly home on January 21, 2015 at Mount St. Mary's Hospital. Born in Niagara Falls, NY on August 27, 1932, she was the daughter of the late Leonard and Ruth (DuBois) Hassan. Joanne was a dedicated homemaker, enjoyed cooking, going for rides in the country, and was a member of the First Assembly of God, and the Wheatfield Seniors.

Survivors include her husband of 61 years, Edwin F. Scherrer. They were married May 22, 1953; three children, Darla Siemucha, Joel Scherrer and Arron Scherrer; son in law, Robert Dominguez; grandchildren, Merilee, Merika, Collette, Corey, Adam, Seth, Sarah, Luke, Hanna and Marian; three sisters, Lois (dec. Willis) Retzlaff, Sally (dec. Ronald) Archer and Betty Lou (George) Lozina; and several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Also predeceased by a daughter, Jan Dominguez and a grandson, Nathan.

Friends may call at the DUBOIS FUNERAL HOME (731-3234), 2436 Niagara Road, (Bergholz) in Wheatfield on Friday, January 23 from 4-8 p.m. Services will be conducted by the Rev. Dr. Jim Vigil, on Saturday, January 24 at 10:00 a.m. at the First Assembly of God, 9750 Niagara Falls Blvd. Interment will follow in the Wheatfield Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Niagara Hospice.

WHEATFIELD - Ruth B. (DuBois) Hassan, 78, of Cayuga Drive, died Saturday (March 29, 1986) at Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center after a four month illness. She lived in the Wheatfield area all her life. She was the widow of Leonard J. Hassan and sister of the late Mrs. Harry (Minnie) Camann, George DuBois, William DuBois and Edwin DuBois. She is survived by daughters, Mrs. Willis (Lois) Retzlaff, Mrs, Edwin (Joanne) Scherrer and Mrs. Ronald (Sally) Archer, all of Wheatfield, and Mrs. George (Betty Lou) Lozina of Town of Niagara; brothers, Arthur DuBois and Herbert DuBois, both of Wheatfield, and Walter DuBois of Niagara Falls; sisters, Mrs. Herbert (Eleanor) Wienke of Town of Niagara, Mrs. Arthur (Elizabeth) Heuer of Wheatfield, 11 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
