    NEWFANE-Funeral services for
    Charles Wiseman, 87, were held Saturday
    afternoon at the home of his
    daughter, Mrs. James Robinson, 600
    West avenue, Lockport, with his
    nephew, the Rev. Boyd Little, of
    Montour Falls, officiating. Mr:
    Wiseman was a resident of the
    Town of Newfane most of his life,
    going to Lockport to live with his

    daughter about four years ago. He
    was a farmer until ill health caused
    his retirement.
    Mr. Wiseman is survived by four
    sons and two daughters, William, of
    Hatter road, Newfane; John, of St.
    Petersburg, Fla.; Eugene, of Ide
    road, Newfane; Lee. of Iona. Mich.;
    Mrs. Robinson and Mrs. Thomas
    Devereaux, of Appleton; also 12
    grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren
    and two sisters, Mrs. Josephine
    Mills, of Main street. Newfane,
    and Mrs. Minnie Allen, of
    Montour Falls.
    Internment was m Corwln cemetery,
    Newfane.

    Mrs. Josephine Mills has received
    word that her sister-in-law, Mrs.
    Charles Wiseman, died at her home on
    the Dale road at Newfane on Tuesday
    after a long illness. Funeral services
    will be held from her late home on
    Thursday at 2 p. m.
