    ST. JOHNSBURG. June 22-The
    marriage of Miss Mildred Siegman,
    daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William
    Siegman, of the Errick road and
    Leo Wlttkop.son of Mrs. Ida Wittkop,
    of the Shawnee road, was
    solemnized last Sunday at 4 o'clock
    at St. John's church, St. Johnsburg.
    The Rev. J. Walter Thiemecke officiated
    at the single ring ceremony
    In the presence of relatives and
    friends. The altar was decorated
    with palms and peonies.
    The bride was lovely in white
    satin cut on Princess lines with a
    high neckline fastened at the front
    with rows of tiny buttons. Her long
    sleeves were slightly puffed at the
    shoulders. Her tulle veil, which was
    plain, fell from the crown. She carried
    a bouquet of white roses and
    babys- breath,
    Miss Erma Siegmann, sister of
    the bride, was maid of honor and
    looked lovely In blue chiffon fashioned
    with large puff sleeves and a
    cluster of pink flowers in her hair.
    Her arm bouquet consisted of yellow
    roses and babys-creath. Miss
    Naomi Lemke, cousin of the groom,
    was bridesmaid. She loked lovely in
    pink chiffon fashioned also with
    large puff sleeves and a green cluster
    of flowers in her hair. She carried
    a bouquet of pink roses and
    babys-brcath. Miss Marion Camann
    was also a bridesmaid. She looked
    lovely in pink chiffon similar to
    that of'the maid of honor.
    Melvln Wittkop, only brother of
    the bridegroom, was best man and
    Harold Slegmann, brother of the
    bride, and Allen Stoeltlng, cousin
    of the groom, acted as usher's.
    The bride's mother wore a
    flowered crepe dress and a corsage
    of pink, roses and sweet peas. The
    bridegroom's mother choose black
    and white net.
    A reception was held at the home
    of the bride's parents for 80 guests.
    The bride's table was laid for 20
    with a three-tier wedding cake
    topped with a miniature bride and
    groom. Out of town guests were
    from Lockport, North Tonawanda
    and Niagara Falls.
    Mr. and Mrs. Wlttkop are now
    staying with the bridegroom's
    mother. Mrs. Ida Wlttkop, of the
    Shawnee road.

    NORTH TONAWANDA, Nov.
    18—Funeral arrangements have
    been completed for Mrs, Ida M.
    Witkop, 68, who died last night in
    her daughter's home, Baysom, N. Y.
    Mrs. Witkop had been living with
    her daughter, Mrs. Kenneth Taylor,
    for two years after spending most
    of her life at Cambria. She was
    born in Wheatfield.
    Mrs. Witkop was a member of
    the St. Paul's Lutheran church,
    North Tonawanda. In addition to
    her daughter, she is survived by
    two sons, Leo Witkop, Wheatfield,
    and Melvin Witkop, Bergboltz, two
    sisters, Mrs. .George Witkop, Mrs
    Edward Lemke and a brother, Alfred
    Werth, all of North Tonawanda.
    She is also survived by four grandchildren.
    Funeral services will be held at
    the Hamp Funeral home, Tonawanda,
    at 2 p.m. Thursday, to be
    followed a half hour later by another
    service at St. Paul's church.
    Burial will take place in St Paul's
    cemetery.

    Miss Ida Werth and Mr. Edward
    Wittkopf both of Pekin were united in
    marriage in the German Lutheran
    church at Pekin on Thursday, While
    the wedding was quietly celebrated it
    was a very pretty affair. Miss Lydia
    Wittkopf. a sister of the groom, and
    Mr. William Eckert were the attendants.
    They went east on their honeymoon.
    Both bride and groom have a
    legion of friends at the Falls who will
    read the announcement of their marriage
    with interest.

    SIEGMANN – William C. Siegmann, 80, died Monday (Sept. 14, 1964) at his residence, 6668 Errick Road, Town of Wheatfield. He is survived by his wife, Martha (nee Jagow); three daughters, Mrs. Leo (Mildred) Witkop, Town of Wheatfield, Mrs. Carl (Erma) England of Sanborn and Mrs. Richard (Clarice) Poerschke of North Tonawanda; four sons, Harold of North Tonawanda and Melvin, Donald and Richard Siegmann of the Town of Wheatfield; 22 grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Anna Jagow of the Town of Pendleton, and a brother, Henry Siegmann of the Town of Wheatfield. Friends may call at the Fretthold Funeral Home, 1241 Oliver St. at Ward Road, where services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday. The Rev. Clarence W. Rabe will officiate. Interment in St. John’s Lutheran Cemetery.

    Martha A. Siegmann, 103, formerly of Errick Road, died Thursday (April 30, 1998) in Northgate Manor Nursing Home, where she had lived since 1985.
    A lifelong resident of Wheatfield, the former Martha A. Jagow was the oldest living member of St. John Lutheran Church.
    Mrs. Siegmann also was a member of the Lutheran Women's Missionary League and enjoyed baking and gardening. Her husband, William C., died in 1964.
    Survivors include four sons, Harold, Melvin, Donald.....a daughter, Clarice Poerschke; 25 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
    Services will be held at 1:30 P.M. Sunday in St. John Lutheran Church, Niagara Falls Boulevard and Ward Road. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
