    William F. Witt, 65, of 426 Schenck
    St. died last night in the De-
    Graff Memorial hospital after a
    short illness. A lifelong resident of
    North Tonawanda, he was a member
    of the Brotherhood of Railroad
    Firemen and Engineers. Surviving
    are two sons, William F., Jr., and
    Ronald W. Witt of North Tonawanda;
    two brothers, Edward C.
    of Waukeegan, Ill., and Benjamin
    E. of North Tonawanda, and three
    sisters, Mrs. Anna Evig and Mrs.
    Emma Langbehn of North Tonawanda
    and Mrs. Martha Andres of
    Los Angeles. Rites will be held
    Wednesday at 3:15 p. m. from the
    residence. The Rev. T. H. Bernen
    will officiate. Burial will be in St.
    Peter's cemetery.

    Mrs. Alma I. Witt, 49 years old,
    died early today at her home, 426
    Schenck street. She was a life-long
    resident, a member of St. Peter's
    Lutheran church, Thompson and
    Bryant streets and the Priscilla
    Guild and the VonVora society of
    the church. She leaves a husband,
    William; two sons, Ronald and
    William, Jr.; a mother, Mrs. Augusta
    Acksel; two sisters. Miss
    Ida Acksel, all of North Tonawanda,
    and Mrs. Elmer Westphal,
    Buffalo, and a brother, Arnold
    Acksel, North Tonawanda. Rites
    will be held Saturday afternoon at
    2:30 o'clock from the residence.
    Rev. Ernest Schneppe will officiate.
    Interment will be in St.
    Peter's cemetery.

    Godfrey Witt, aged 66 years, died
    yesterday afternoon at the family residence
    in 426 Schenk street. The deceased
    was born in Germany and.had
    lived in North Tonawanda for the past
    30 years. Besides his wife he is survived
    by three sons, William, Edward,
    and Benjamin Witt and three daughters,
    Mrs. Albert Evig, of Walmore,
    N. Y., Mrs. Robert Andres, of Chicago,
    IH., and Mrs. Frank Langbehn of Tonawanda.
    The funeral announcement
    will be made later.

    TONAWANDA. Feb. 22.-Mrs.
    Augusta Witt, 79 years old, died yesterday
    at the home of her daughter,
    Mrs. . Frank Langbehn, 184 Grove
    street. Mrs. Witt had been in poor
    health for the last five years, but her
    condition did not become serious until
    about two weeks ago. She was
    born in Berlin, Germany. For the last
    60 years she had been a resident of
    the Tonawandas.
    Mrs. Witt is survived by three sons,
    William and Benjamin Witt of North
    Tonawanda and E. Witt of Waukegan
    Ill., and three daughters, Mrs. Lang-
    behn, Mrs. Anna Evig of North Tona-

    wanda and Mra R. H. Andres of Los
    Angeles. Tho funeral will be held
    Thursday afternoon at 3:30 o'clock at
    the home of Mrs. Evig, 323 Schenk
    street Burial will be in the Sweeney
    cemetery .

    Augusta Acksel, 80, died yesterday
    at her home, 303 Bryant street. She
    was born in Germany and has re-
    sided in this city the last 60 years.
    She was a member of St. Peter's
    Lutheran church. Surviving are
    two daughters, Mrs. Elmer Westphal,
    of Buffalo, and Miss Ida Acksel, of
    this city; one son, Arnold Acksel, of
    this city and seven grandchildren.
    The funeral will be held Monday
    at 2 p.m. at the home. The Rev.
    Robert Hein will officiate. Inter-
    ment will be in St. Peter's cemetery.

    Aged Resident Dies At Daughter's Home
    Mrs. Wilhelmina Kreidemann, age 84 years, died last evening at the home of
    her daughter, Mrs. Herman Oxcell of No. 303 Bryant street after an illness
    of over a year. Mrs. Kreidemann had been a resident of this city for the
    past 24 years. The following relatives survive: Two daughters, Mrs. Augusta
    Bohlman, and Mrs. Oxcell; three sons, Charles and Julius of North Tonawanda
    and Rudolph of Germany; two sisters, Mrs. Fred Kreidemann and Mrs. Herman
    Bach, and three brothers, Fred, Christian of Tonawanda and Charles Witkoph
    of Emily City, Mich. The funeral will be held Sunday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock
    from the residence on Bryant street and at 2 o'clock from St. Peter's
    church, corner of Bryant and Thompson streets, Rev. E. J. Mack officiating.
    Interment will be held in St. Peter's cemetery
