    Lockport Union-Sun & Journal

    APPLETON -
Cynthia Sue (Wojtowicz) Strickland gave her loving, gentle soul back to God on July 30, 2014. Born on August 25, 1955, she was the daughter of Henry and Betty (Lunn) Wojtowicz of Pekin, NY.
Cindy served as Director of the Newfane Golden Agers club with love and as a fierce advocate for HER senior members. She referred to it as her perfect job, stating "Where else can I work and be friends with those I love and respect-and get so much more in return?". When her health prevented her from returning to work, she looked forward to joining as a member when able. Among her greatest loves and joys were her family, painting with dear friends and time spent at the family cabin in Tidioute, PA. with family and special friends.
Cindy is survived by her husband James; daughter, Jennifer (Jim) Britton; cherished grandson, Henry and soon to be born granddaughter, Stella. Also survived by sister, Jerri Mulhern; and brother, Michael Wojtowicz.
A Memorial Service will be held on August 7th from 6:30 - 7:30 PM at Ridgewood Bible Church (7073 Ridge Rd., Lockport). In lieu of flowers, donations to Save-A-Pet are appreciated.
An electronic condolence may be left at Castiglia Funeral Home Inc. - www.cfhecc.com.
