    LOCKPORT — Mary C. Bugenhagen passed away September 5, 2012 in Odd Fellow & Rebekah Rehab & Health Care Center. Born March 3, 1929 in Lockport, she was the daughter of Raymond and Blanche (James) Connor. Mary was an active member of the Hospital Guild and the PTA at Washington Hunt Elementary.

    Mary is survived by her husband, Raymond Bugenhagen of Lockport; mother of Molly (John) Fachko of Lancaster, Judith (Michael) Mack, twin daughters, Laurie Bugenhagen and Maureen Connolly, all of Lockport, and the late James Bugenhagen; mother-in-law of Jenny Harris; grandmother of Megan (John) Ciarfella, Melcher (Susan) Mack, James (Laura) Bugenhagen, Michael Bugenhagen, Katie Bugenhagen, Claire Connolly-Seveno (Nicholas) and Michelle Harris; great- grandmother of seven; sister of William Connor of Florida, Kenneth (Betty) Connor of Lockport, and the late Raymond Connor; several nieces and nephews.

    Relatives and friends may call Monday, September 10th from 4-7 PM in Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport. A memorial Mass will be celebrated Tuesday, September 11th, at 10 AM in St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church, 168 Chestnut St., Lockport.     Rowers of blue and red were contrasted attractively
    against the white gowns worn by the bride and her attendants
    for the marriage of Miss Mary Virginia Connor and Raymond
    H. Bugenhagen, solemnized Saturday at 11 o'clock in the rectory
    of St. Patrick's Church, the Rev. John P. Kennedy, pastor, offi-
    ciating.
    The bride is the daughter of Mr.
    and Mrs. Raymond F. Connor of
    147 Cottage St. and the groom is
    the son of Mr.and Mrs. Herman
    Bugenhagen of 223 Waterman St.
    A sheer nylon yoke distinguished
    the gown of Chantilly lace over
    nt worn by the bride. She wore
    a finger-tip veil of tulle trimme
    with rhiestones and a seed pearl
    tiara. Her cascade bouquet was
    of blue hyacinths and ivy centere
    with gardenia and trimmed with
    lacelan.
    ORGANDY DRESSES
    Miss Mary Ruth O'Malley, cou-
    sin of the bride, was maid of
    honor and ss Mary Rita Har-
    ris was bridesmaid. They wore
    white frosted organdy baretop
    dreses in ballerina length witih bo-
    leros of nylon tulle. Their Ju-
    liet hats also were of white trost -
    ed organdy and they carried Amer-
    ican beauty roses. Ann Conli,
    niece of the groom, was flowoer
    girl, wearing a replica of the oth-
    er attendants' drese with a
    sweetheart shaped hat. She car-
    ried a Colonial bouquet ofo garnet
    roses. David Craig was best man
    and Kenneth J. Connor, brother
    of the bride, acte as usher.
    The bride's mother wore a two-
    piece dress with a beige lace bod-
    ice and navy gathered skirt, a
    beige picture hat and navy ac-
    cessories. Her corsage was of talis-
    man roses and bachelor buttons.
    The groom's mother chose a navy
    crepe dress with matching acces-
    sories and a corsage of gardenias..
    Two large baskets of gladioli
    decorated the rectory for the cere-
    mony. An afternoon reception to
    300 guests folowed at Green
    Acres, Burt, where covers were
    laid for 35 at the brida table,
    decorated with red roses and cen-
    tered with a modernistic wedding
    cake.
    BURGUNDY SUIT
    The couple left for a wedding
    trip fo Washington,, the bride wear-
    ing a burgandy suit with navy ac-
    cessories, a fur cape and orchid
    corsage. They will make ther
    home at 373 High St.
    The bride is a graduate of Lock-
    port HIgh School and the groom
    was graduated from Lockport High
    School and General Motors Insti-
    tue, Flint, Mich. He erved for
    three years with the U.S. Navy.
    Prenuptial events included show-
    ers given by Mr Roger Horan-
    burg; Mrs Richard Spaulding and
    Miss Audrey Goff; the Misses Eli-
    nor Whitney, June and Marion
    Rutherford; Miss Mary Ruth
    O'Malley.
    Miss Harris gave a dinner, Mrs.
    Glen Gilbert a social enter-
    tainment and Mr and Mrs er-
    man Bugenhagen and famiy enter-
    tained at a dinner for the bride's
    family.
