    Wolanske's Body Returns on Friday For Reburial Here
    The body of Pfc. Albert Wolanske of 461 Ward Rd., killed in action in Holland, Nov. 17, 1944, will arrive at the North Tonawanda New York Central depot Friday morning for reburial. The train is due at 7:30. A squad from Tonawandas Post, American Legion, will escort the body to the Fretthold Funeral Home, 1241 Oliver St., where services will be held Sunday at 2 p. m. and in the St. Mark's Evangelical Lutheran Church at 2:30 p. m. The Rev. Paul Fretthold will officiate and interment will be in St. Matthew's Cemetery. Tonawandas Post will confer military honors. Pfc. Wolanske was born in North Tonawanda July 4, 1914. He attended the St. Mark's Parochial School and the North Tonawanda High School. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Mary Wolanske Kehr; a daughter Patricia; five brothers Truman, Walter, Wilburt, George, and Raymond all of N. Tonawanda, and a sister, Lillian LaFleur, also of N. Tonawanda.

    NORTH TONAWANDA, March 31
    -The body of Pfc. Albert Wolanske.
    who resided at 461 Ward road when
    he entered the service, will arrive
    here tomorrow morning for reburlal.
    He was killed in action In Holland
    on November 19, 1944. He entered
    the service In November, 1942. and
    went overseas little more than two
    months before being killed.
    Pfc. Wolanske was born in North
    Tonawanda July 4. 1914. and attended
    the St. Mark's parochial
    school and the North Tonawanda
    High school. He was employed by
    the Carborundum company, Niagara
    Falls, before entering the service.
    Funeral services will be held Sunday
    at 2 p. m. from the Fretthold
    funeral home, 1241 Oliver street,
    and at 2:30 p. m. at the St. Mark's
    Evangelical Lutheran church. The
    Rev. Paul Fretthold will officiate
    and burial will be In the St. Matthew's
    Evangelical Lutheran church
    cemetery. Full military honors will
    be conferred by Tonawandas Post,
    American Legion.
    Surviving are his widow, Mrs.
    Mary Wolanske Kehr, five brothers
    and one sister.

    Albert H. Wolanske. 64, of 461 Ward
    road, died last night after a long
    illness! He was a lifelong resident
    here. He leaves his wife, Mrs. Louise
    Wolanske; six sons, Wilbert. Raymond.
    Truman, George. Albert and
    Walter, all of this city: two daughters,
    Mrs. Albert Rappleyea. of this
    city, and Mrs. Truman Lafleur, of
    Tonawanda; 14 grandchildren and a
    sister. Mrs. Robert Cramer, of this
    city. The funeral will be held Wednesday
    at 2 p.m. at the home and at
    2:30 at St. Mark's church in Washington
    street. Interment will be In
    St. Matthew's cemetery.

    Descendants of the late Albert
    Wolanske Sr., brought their family
    records up to date at their
    recent annual reunion in Mayor's
    Park, North Tonawanda.
    Wilbert Wolanske was the oldest
    member present and monthold
    Diana Gail, daughter of John
    and Janet Nowicki of Buffalo,
    was the youngest One marriage
    was recorded during the year-
    that of Donald Wolanske and Anita
    Smith. Two births were recorded,
    a son to Richard and
    Sharon Hodge and a daughter to
    John and Janet Nowicki, both of
    Buffalo.
    During the business session the
    group elected Walter Wolanske,
    president; Mrs. Kenneth Heim,
    secretary - treasurer and Mrs.
    Casey Cech and Laverne Ensminger
    of Lockport, committee for
    the 1965 reunion program.
    The third annual reunion was
    planned for June 1965 in Mayor's
    Park.
    Families brought basket picnic
    fare for luncheon* and supper.
    Games provided entertainment
    for the 27 adults and 36 children
    attending.

    road. A lifelong resident, she was

    church. She leaves a daughter,
