    Veteran Lumber City Fire Fighter Dies
    NORTH TONAWANDA, June 20 - Herbert F. Zastrow, 75, of 214 Schenck street, a member for 50 years of the Columbia Hook and Ladder company, died today at the DeGraff Memorial Hospital after a short illness. Born in Germany, Mr. Zastrow lived here for the last 50 years. He was a member of St. Matthew's Lutheran church and of the North Tonawanda Firemen's Benevolent Association. Surviving are his wife, Emma; two sons, Elmer, North Tonawanda, and Harold, Bogata, N.J.; one daughter, Mrs. John Gunderman of Buffalo, and four sisters, Mrs. Frank Quester and Mrs. Fred Wendt, both of Niagara FAlls, N.Y., and Mrs. Emma Holland and Mrs. Edward Ellman, both of North Tonawanda. Funeral services will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at the Wattengel Funeral home, 307 Oliver street, and at 2:30 p.m. at St. Matthew's church with the Rev. Paul Gassman officiating. Interment will be in St. Matthew's cemetery.

    EMMA H. ZASTROW
    NORTH TONAWANDA - Mrs. Emma H. Zastrow, 86, of the Lutheran Home in Buffalo and a former resident of this city, died Monday (July 5, 1971) at Deaconess Hospital in Buffalo. Born in Hamlin, N.Y. she was a member of St. Matthew Lutheran Church. Her husband, the late Herbert F. Zastrow, died in 1953. She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. John Gunderman Jr. of Hamburg, two sons, Elmer Zastrow of this city and Harold Zastrow of Linthicum Heights, Md., seven grandchildren, and 21 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday at the Wattengel Funeral Home, with the Rev. A. W. Moldenhauer officiating. Burial will be in St. Matthew Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. today and Wednesday at the funeral home.

    Mrs. Amelia Zastro(sic),63 years old, wife of August Zastro of the Ward road at St. Johnsburg, died at home on Saturday night after a lingering illness. Mrs. Zastro was born in Germany and lived in the town of Wheatfield for thirty-one years. Besides her husband, four daughters, Mrs. Emma Holland, Mrs. Helen Ellman, Mrs. Freida Quester, and Miss Lottie Zastro, all of Wheatfield, and four sons, Frank Zastro of Niagara Falls, Herbert and Otto Zastro of North Tonawanda and August Zastro of St. Johnsburg, survive.
    The funeral will be held tomorrow afternoon from the family home at 1:30 and a half hour later from the St. John's church at St. Johnsburg. Burial will be made in the St. Johnsburg cemetery
