    p.m. at United Methodist Church,
    169 E. Main St., Webster, N.Y.

    Miss Virginia Wolf, of South Ellicott
    Creek Road, was the guest
    of honor at a kitchen shower
    given in Rochester Saturday evening.
    Hostesses were Mrs. Westen
    Peters and Miss Carolyn Alt.
    Twenty-one guests joined' in
    playing appropriate games and
    watching the bride-to-be open her
    many lovely gifts, Delicious refreshments
    were served.
    Attending from Tonawanda
    were the mother of the guest of
    honor, Mrs. Waiter W. Wolf, Mrs
    Donald Wolf, and Mrs. Lewis
    Wolf of Kenmore.
    Miss Wolf is the bride-elect of
    Clayton C. Alt of Rochester and
    their marriage will take place
    October 12.

    Walter W. Wolf. 68. a former
    resident of the City of Tonawanda.
    died today at Covina, Calif,
    where he had resided for the past
    five years.
    Mr. Wolf had been employed by
    the Spaulding Fibre Co. untii his
    retirement because of ill health
    five years ago. He uas a member
    of Tonawanda Lodse 247
    F & AM
    He is survived by his wife, the
    former Delia Long. Other local
    survivors include sons. Lewis of
    the Town of Tonawanda, Douglas
    W. of North Tonawanda. and
    Charles F. of the Town of Am-
    herst; and two brothers,
    Arthur B and Arnold of Tonawanda.
    Services and burial will be in
    California.

    WOLF - Mrs. Delia B. Wolf
    (nee Long), 78, of 54-B Newell
    Ave.; Town of Tonawanda,
    died Friday evening (Feb. 27,
    1970) at the Sheridan Manor
    Nursing Home following a short
    illness.
    She was,the wife of the late

    Walter W. Wolf, and is survived
    by five sons, Donald A. of Leh-
    man, Pa., Lewis H. of Kenmore,
    Walter B. of the Town of Pendleton,

    James J. of Santa
    Paula, Calif., and Charles F.
    Wolf of the Town of Amherst,
    and a daughter, Mrs. Clayton
    (Virginia) Alt of Webster, N. Y.
    She is also survived by 21
    grandchildren, several great
    grandchildren and a sister, Mrs.
    Caroline Beck at the Carlton
    House Nursing Home.
    Mrs. Wolf was a member of
    Tonawanda United Methodist
    Church and the Ladies Aid
    Society and the Loyal Daugh-
    ters Sunday School Class at
    the church.
    Friends may call from 2
    to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.. at the
    Hilliard Funeral Home, Inc.
    147 Delaware St., Tonawanda,
    where services will be con-
    ducted at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday,
    the Rev. Eldon Snyder of-
    ficiating. Interment in Oak-
    dake Memorial Park, Glendora,
    Calif. Flowers gratefully de-
    clined. Memorials may be made
    to the Tonawanda United Meth-
    odist Church.

    TON A WANDA, Jan. 18-Ludwlg
    Long,. 89, died yesterday at his
    home, 403 Fletcher street, after a
    short illness. Born in Germany, he
    came to America when fourteen. He
    lived on Grand Island 38 years
    prior to taking up his residence in
    Tonawanda 38 years ago. He was
    a member of the First Evangelical
    church on Morgan street.
    Surviving are five daughters, Mrs.
    Anna Kaegebein, Mrs. Walter Wolf,
    Mrs. Caroline Beck All of the Tonawandas;
    Mrs. Clara Fritzke, Pendleton,
    and Mrs. Mary Hardy,
    Grand Island. He wee also the
    father of the late Mrs. Sophie
    Rohde. Grand Island. He leaves 38
    grandchildren and fourteen great
    grandchildren.
    The funeral will be held at 3
    o'clock Thursday at the home. The
    Rev. Henry J. Dute will conduct the
    services and burial will be on Grand
    Island.
